The zero effort big clock
Arrived quickly in above average packaging. Popped batteries in and put the packaging in the bin and when I turned back the darn thing had completely set itself and was working. I thought, oh, is that it? I was looking for buttons to press and tiny pigeon-english instructions to read. Felt deflated. And then I realised all electronics should be like this. The Nikon camera I bought has a 200 page manual with it and i'm only on about page 5. This just connected up to the radio transmitter and tells perfect time all the time. And it adjusts itself twice a year for daylight savings. Wish I could connect it to the tens of other clocks and watches that need constant fiddling with (if you can remember which buttons to hold down etc). I compared it wth a couple of other devices around the house (had to find something to do) and it's spot on. Even left it outside for a while and the temp dropped to 6 degrees and the humidity up to 90% (yep Northern England) brought it in when it started raining and quickly readjusted.Wife took an instant dislike when she saw the size of it (around 9 inches square) in her perfect designer kitchen, but now she likes it. Kind of blends in. About the size of an iPad - and even looks like something Apple might have designed. And it's very readable from every angle in a big room. Wall mount or table stand.I specifically wanted the humidity thing and it's kind of interesting to keep a track of that, I know....!This would be perfect for an elderly person (no disrespect to young people) just because there's literally nothing to do and it's very clear, but without being overtly an old persons device like those big phones with the big buttons. Literally put batteries in and forget.Pretty much perfect.

UK Radio Controlled Wall Clock with features
Setup couldn't be easier! Insert 2x AA (or LR6) batteries, which are not included, wait a few minutes and all should be set.Bought this clock mainly for accuracy of time display and that it doesn't need to be set (no more excuses that the time is wrong). Also because it displays room temperature and to check humidity levels in the office, thus see how well the dehumidifier unit is working. I don't expect this part of the clock to be scientifically accurate, but giving a general indication on temperature and humidity levels in a room with electronic equipment. The clock I've received, set itself within a few minutes (less than 3) after the batteries were inserted, by showing the antenna symbol and [DST] (Daylight Saving Time), which was in effect at the time of purchase. Just needed to change the 12h setting to 24h format, as I prefer it that way (see tip below). There can be rooms or placements, where radio controlled clocks in general may struggle to pick up the radio signal. If it doesn't appear to set itself, try placing the clock by a window for a few minutes. For tech geeks or general information, the "MSF Radio Time Signal" website explains everything in detail.Features* Radio controlled automatic time setting* Room temperature display* Room humidity display* Date* 12h or 24h time display* Alarm function- There is no back light in the display, so you won't be able to see the time in a darkened room. This is really more something for an office or kitchen etc., to hang on a wall.Tip: 12h/24h display change: Press and hold [Set] button until the display shows either 12h or 24h, then press one of the up [˄] or down [˅] buttons to toggle it to the desired setting, press [Set] again to confirm the new setting and then a few times more until the clock shows the time again. Couldn't be any easier.

Took a while to find signal, but works perfectly now!
I initially placed this clock by a window, hoping it would pick up the signal, but no luck, no matter where I tried—even after following the instructions to manually request a signal. I went on holiday for a week, assuming it might sort itself out, but it still hadn’t picked up the signal by the time I returned. Since I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of returning it, I set the time manually. Strangely enough, that same night, it finally found the signal and has been working perfectly ever since! The clock has performed flawlessly since then. It has a good-sized display, which is perfect for my needs, though it might be a bit large for some. It’s especially great for people with poor eyesight or if you plan to mount it high where multiple people need to see it.Overall, I’m happy with it now, but if you’re struggling to get the signal, try setting it manually first!

Impressed and happy.
I have waited a few months to see how the clock hold up over time. It is great, large, easy to read and radio control for the time so accurate to the second, always ! It had a few other features like temperature etc that is handy. I prefer a analogue clock usually but I went digital for this one and it is genuinely excellent.

Great clock
I needed a replacement for my old radio controlled clock. This came when expected and works as expected. It says it can be set manually but it didn't. The buttons when pressed to hard will interfere with the display. However it takes a good few hours to connect to the radio signal to set the time automatically. The display is clear looking head on, but if you look at it from an angle it can sometimes be a little unclear. On the whole it works fine and once it has connected it doesn't get taken off the wall again until the batteries run out!
