This is a great barcode scanner, fast response on scanning item to item, no lag or delay in the computer. The design looks awesome and fashionable. It is easy to charge and battery last more than I expected throughout the busy day scanning, I would say more than 1500 scans in a busy holiday. It is a great performance compare to my last slow scanner. I am quite satisfied with this purchase and soon I will replace my other old Honeywell scanner. Overall, recommended product for small business operations.

While this scanner is probably designed for use in a retail setting, I picked it up for home use and am quite pleased with its performance. I have a large retro video game collection and have a software program that catalogs and inventories everything for me. The software uses the camera on your phone to scan the barcodes off the boxes but is quite cumbersome to use. By using the VOTTAN wireless bluetooth scanner, I can quickly and much more easily catalog my collection.The nice thing about the scanner is the vast number of setup options it has. The scanner can be programed to read a variety of different barcodes and connect to your devices in a number of ways. While my inventory program does not natively support a handheld scanner, the scanner easily integrated with the program because it can be setup as a HID. The scanner can connect to your devices either through bluetooth or the included 2.4Ghz dongle. For my use, the scanner easily connected to my phone using bluetooth.The versatility of the scanner can actually prove to be a little bit of a hinderance. The setup options can be a little confusing and the included instructions don't clarify much. The instruction manual is also something that you want to keep track of. The scanner is programmed by use of scanning barcodes in the manual. If you lose the book, you are going to have to hunt down this info on-line.The build quality of the scanner is good, but not exceptional. It is perfect for my use, but in a retail setting, you might want something more solidly built depending on the size of your operation. This scanner would be perfect for a small business to use with POS or inventory management software. If you have a warehouse type operation, I don't think the build quality is good enough to stand up to the abuse it might encounter.In the end, this scanner performed excellently for me. It scanned all they types of barcodes that I needed it to. It integrated seamlessly into software it was not designed for. It also operated wirelessly for well over two hours while performing my inventory. Overall, I highly recommend this scanner.

In my testing, this scanner works reasonably well over Bluetooth. It isn’t the fastest and it doesn't have the best range, but it works for both 1D and 2D barcodes.Unfortunately, with the USB RF dongle, I've run into frequent lags with longer codes, e.g., QR codes. The reader transmits part of the code, then stops for a second or two, then starts, then stops, etc. The lags occur with the USB dongle only about 1 m (or yard) from the scanner.The design is nice and the charging stand is convenient, but given the reliability issues with the USB dongle and the lack of unusually strong performance, I'd be hesitant to recommend this scanner.

I read the booklet comes with it Uber 10 times and still, it's not working like it's supposed to.

Right out of the box. Works beautiful. Quick setup and recognition of all codes! Would recommend.

I wish it had better app compatibility

I have purchased several of these scanners. I like that they connect to all of my devices and they recognize all of my barcodes better than many other scanners I've tested. Unfortunately, I've had the trigger button break and get stuck pressed in on most of my scanners. I took one of the broken units apart and discovered that instead of a metal spring, they used a thin, flexible piece of plastic to push the button back out after you press it. That plastic is not durable enough and eventually breaks, rendering the scanner unusable.

This barcode scanner was exactly what I was looking for! It is durable and high-quality! I have used a very similar product for years and was looking for something to upgrade to, and this is definitely an upgrade! It has no problems scanning barcodes in large warehouses like mine! The strength of it is impeccable in Relaying it back to my computer system.Previous barcode scanners that I had used would struggle with lighter colored barcodes, but this scanner seems to pick up everything, even if it has been faded, or is in a not so perfect light/ color. It is also very simple to use and hold a charge for long periods of time. The stand seems very durable and not cheap which I was really excited about. It feels very high-quality and looks like it is high-quality material.You will not regret buying this and using this. It has been a great addition to our warehouse.
