I got these letter stencils to use in the background of some of my pet portraits. I was very pleased to see that the letters came already "punched out" so I didn't have to do that tedious job. Each letter was on its own fairly sturdy plastic square, making them easy to use and each square has notches to help line the letters. The plastic is translucent, making it easy to see through it and also help with lining up the letters. I used a pencil to outline the letters so I haven't really had to clean them yet.Before I used the stencils I went through each letter and with a marker, wrote the letter in the upper right-hand corner, which makes it easier to find the letter I want in the pile and know how the letter should be oriented.With a little care I should be able to use these stencils for many years to come.

Stencils worked well on wood project.

Cheap, simple and easy to. Not sure how the tab system is, supposed to be use. Complete mystery.

Perfect size and thickness to be durable.

I used them on tote bags and they were pretty crisp. Make sure to hold them down tight so it doesn’t leak out of the stencil. Use tape and sponge on the paint instead of a brush

Nice stencils easy to use

These letters come 'separte', they're not a 'page'. Otherwise, they're alright. They're plastic cut outs and have 'spacing' slots to even out the letters to form a word.

I love the interlocking pieces which really give you an idea of how much space you will need for whatever you are writing. The downside of individual pieces is keeping up with them and not losing one. The plastic construction ensures stability of the stencil and makes it usable for a long time without distorting the letters and numbers. I wish there were multiples of the vowels and most used letters so you could mock up more than one word at a time.
