Works extremely well
This works extremely well. I live in Delhi and I often get cold due to the pollution here and have to take meds on a regular basis. I've been using this filter all season and I haven't had to take any medicines.

Effective
Buying it for 2nd time as it does what it claims. An inclusion of an indicator card that tells when to change the filter would be apreciated.

Air purification is not just filtration....
First off, lets get the good things out of the way before diving into why I think this idea does not really translate well into real world scenarios.1. The packaging was nice. The filters and the frame were sandwiched between two sheets of engineered wood.2. The idea makes sense on paper.3. The construction is the embodiment of function over form. Very "low tech", essentials-only approach which works well.4. The silicone sheet they have provided is pretty high quality and is again a very functional idea. Now, before we get to the issues, let me mention that I tried it with two ACs from two different brands and I could not make it work with either. And believe me, I have tried a lot for months on end to find a way to make it work. With that out of the way, here are the issues:1. It reduces the airflow significantly and probably puts a lot of additional strain on the fan motor. The reduction in airflow significantly reduces the cooling capacity of the AC too. This was true for both my 1.5 ton ACs. The fan speeds reduced to at least 2/3rd of the original speeds and the rooms took much, much longer to reach a steady temperature. Now, this is to be expected since HEPA filters do require a lot of static air pressure to overcome the filter surface area. The fans on an AC simply do not seem suitable for HEPA filter level performance.2. The utilitarian design of the frame means that it is very unweildy and the HEPA filters pop out of it constantly. A brace in the middle of the rectangle would probably increase the overall rigidity but i'm not an engineer.3. There are gaps on the perimeter of the HEPA filters when thei are inserted into the frame. I don't know if that impacts anything, but felt it was worth mentioning that the filters don't have an exact fit on the frame.4. One AC had a curved top and seating the flat rectangular frame flush on there was just not happening. I had to add some more foam tape on top of the pre applied tape to make it sit properly. So I would caution against thinking that this can be a one size fits all sort of solution5. Air purification is not just the filter, it is also the volume of air you can move through those filters. This is why air purifiers have really loud and performant fans on them, Air conditioners on the other hand, have their fans tuned to overcome a flat nylon mesh filter.6. I have used flat sheets of electrostatic filters in addition to the mesh that comes with the AC in the past and that has worked surprisingly well. Especially the fact that those do not reduce the airflow to any noticable degree. Maybe Airth can do a version where its just a flat electrostatic sheet instead of pleated HEPA filters? Food for thought.Hope this helps someone.
