Very nice, does the job great, easy to fit, plugs a bit stiff to insert but I'm using it with items which will be rarely unplugged. Definitely a lot easier than chasing out the wall to fit an extra socket.

Fitted one of these before very good . However if fitting to a single socket please note you have to make a small indent in plaster where the plastic protrudes to allow a flush fitting. Otherwise easy to fit.

Solidly made, fits in well. This socket needs to overhang a twin socket box a little on each side, so you need a bit of space both sides on the wall.The screw terminals at the back will easily take two ring main 2.5mm twin and earth cables (standard ring-main cables) when two conductors are twisted together and pushed into the brass terminals. I suspect that if they were pushed in as straight wires, you could get 3 wires in.Normally there are only 2 wires in each (ring main GO and RETURN to breaker box) .If you have a spur cable feeding from that socket to an extra socket, then you would have 3 cables, giving 3 Lives (Red), 3 Neutrals (Black) and 3 Earths.I did find that the left mounting screw hole was threaded, which doesn't allow tightening the screw, but a 3mm drill soon cleared that out. The other mounting screws were OK. Bottom line is it looks good on the wall and works well..Just bought another one of these for my lounge, very useful and solidly made.

Purchased to upgrade socket in airing cupboard, easy installation. Excellent price and delivery.

Overall build quality on first look looked and feels ok. The only issue I've found is that the sockets on the front seem tight which makes inserting and removing the 3 pin plugs very difficult, especially if you have arthritis etc. It works, but there are better ones.
