I bought the clear one to protect the wall in my new Studio apartment and also used it as white board. I make videos and I used this to write down the bullet points / topic I wanted to talk about. It was really useful as I could clean it off and re-use it over and over again. It was little bit hard to clean . I had to use alcohol to fully clean it. I am not sure because I left it on too long or why but it never was easy to clean it with a cloth. Maybe uf you buy the white board cleaning sponge?! But I didn't care because the writing came off. It was quite easy to remove it after being in the wall more than 6 months. I wish used it on the bathroom wall as I wanted to protect the wall from coloring my hair. It came of even easier as I never wrote in it in the bathroom. Keep in mind, the more you write and clean it the more you put pressure on the surface so it will stick really well so removing maybe takes little effort .But! I bought the same clear to my stainless steel refrigerator and I couldn't remove it as the residue stick to the refrigerator. My husband had to use heat gun and some strong chemicals to clean it off. ( chemicals that painters use after painting and cleaning the brushes) so in my opinion it is a great product I would buy it again but you have to be sure the wall is really well prepared and not pealing at all! This can strip off the paint if it is loose or old when you try to remove it from the wall.

I bought this about a year ago to use for school. I study mostly at home, and having a whiteboard is very helpful. I read the reviews, the product details and the instructions very carefully before deciding to purchase it, and also before applying it. Most of the negative reviews I have seen seem to be from people that did not do at least one of those things before buying it.1) read the specifications. It is not for every type of wall, and the seller provides that information. Make sure this product works for the type of wall that you have.2) don’t skip any steps. Read the instructions and follow them. Also, it recommends you get help. I also recommend this. I am extremely handy, so I was able to apply it myself, but I could have very easily have messed it up if I was not methodical in every step.3) use expo dry erase markers. I read the reviews about ghosting and ordered quality whiteboard markers at the same time as the white board. I threw away the ones they included, as well as the “cleaning cloths”.To clean, I use “wet ones”. Everything comes off clean, even if it’s been left marked up for weeks. I have had no real issue with ghosting. I included a photo of the board before and after wiping portions away with the wipes. The blue writing had been there for almost two months.I am not expecting this to be a perfect whiteboard, and slight imperfections are not going to bother me or keep me from using it. I think I could probably continue using this for 2+ years without any issue.I later bought a folding whiteboard that I hung next to it (when funds were available). I can’t say that either of them performs better or cleans better than the other. One is just prettier, because it’s a real whiteboard.The bottom line is: if you do your due diligence and make sure this product is compatible with your walls, take your time to apply it correctly, and invest in good markers, you should not have any problems with this board at all, and it will save you money.If you apply it to an incompatible wall, you WILL rip the paint off, you will have to repaint, and it might even just fall off (depending on the type of wall).I live in a very humid climate, and I applied extra portions of this to my window. It has not moved, peeled or bubbled.Application tip:Mark a line in pencil for where to apply it to the wall. Slowly unroll it an inch at a time, firmly pressing each new inch into place, and scraping out bubbles as you go with a plastic scraper. Do not expect to be able to remove bubbles later. You must ensure each inch you apply is scraped out before you unroll/apply further.You are saving money with this product and making up for it with your elbow grease and your time. You should be honest with yourself about whether or not you are prepared to do that. If you are not, you should buy a traditional whiteboard.

I bought this as a replacement for a large whiteboard that was taking up way too much space in my office (it was on wheels). Being vinyl stickers and $12 on Amazon, I wasn't sure what to expect. HOWEVER, this product is amazing, excellent, splendid, and every other positive adjective you can match up with a product like this.First, the packaging itself was a surprise, I've bought other vinyl type products from Amazon before and they just with a piece of tape holding it from coming unrolled, and it's tossed inside an Amazon shipping pouch and delivered. This was inside of a box, with an accurate description of what was inside. You even get the added bonus of getting 3 markers with the product. Had I paid more attention, I would have seen that prior to ordering, so it felt extra special to me getting 3 free markers.The product is super easy to install, it cuts cleanly and has lines on the back for easy measuring. I was able to cut it into two large pieces and mark one large whiteboard wall with the material. My initial impressions are the product is fantastic. It's a pure reflective white (just like a whiteboard), so as long as it doesn't bother you if you place it on a non-white wall. It erases cleanly. The only downside is if you have texture walls or small bumps, you'll see them through the vinyl, but this is to be expected and is in no way the company's fault.I'm glad this product was priced the way it was, and I'm definitely going to purchase more in the future to cover even more of my office walls.
