Best remote period. Battery operated is the way to go. Seems like even tip-toeing-through-the tulips with USB connectors only goes so far. It seems they require more and more jiggling until they can't be recharged anymore. It's a common problem that with rechargeables the USB connection seems flimsy from the start. As prophesized they no longer charge like so much Chinese stuff except the high-end products one purchases.Another strike was the dedicated USB dongles having two identical model remotes didn't mean that the dongles could be used interchangeably. If one malfunctions then that remote no longer works despite having another one.In contrast, this product was a pleasant surprise great price and works very well with android boxes.Product ships with a dongle that could be used to set it up if the connecting device doesn't support Bluetooth. If the box does support it this remote could be easily be setup like any other Bluetooth remote in the box freeing a USB port. I really like how well it moves and batteries last for about three months.

A web search for the Google reference design G20 remote (built to spec by Ohsung Electronics in Korea) will turn up a link to this device. This is NOT the Google reference design, and is not even styled or labelled like it. For a look at the real Ohsung G20, refer to what Rocktek bundles with their G2 streaming box.It is, however, very compatible (in Bluetooth mode) with various Android TV and Google TV devices. It is also (to my knowledge) the only device having "air mouse" capabilities which runs on replaceable batteries. It pairs easily with ATV devices and all of the basic functions work fine once you get used to the non-standard button labels.I think that most of the negative reviews here stem from people trying to use this with other AV devices which are connected by the USB wireless dongle. Compatibility and function seem to vary greatly and I would not recommend a random buyer to invest in this device for that purpose.

I bought this in hopes that I could control my galaxy tab s8 plus via Bluetooth. I could get it to pair but it wouldn't control it. When I used the usb dongle it worked fine. It's too bad because it would have been perfect if it worked.

It's my favorite remote for my NVidia TV. The one provided with the Nvidia does not come with an air mouse. This one does. I stopped using the remote provided by NVidia completely.

The product works great but the included documentation was poor at best. Very little information about how to program the remote's features.

Simple, easy to use. Not perfect with andriod but generally works well.

It feels more optimized for an Android TV Box than previous controllers I have used. However, I'm taking down a star just because button layout may still improve, you have to get used to it. In general, it feels cheap and still perfoms very well!

I was looking for something really particular, a remote to control my android tablet (Lenova P12) from across the room in hopes that I could use it in my tent while camping. I really was expecting some basic functionality and wasn’t hoping for much more. I assumed the air mouse thing wouldn’t work. Mainly, I wanted to be able to point and click. To my surprise, every function I have tried (including air mouse) work flawlessly. This is just like a small smart tv in my tent. This is a pretty fancy base camp kind of setup. Being able to mount the tablet to the wall with the magnet case was already awesome. Having this remote now has me really excited!
