I have bought one and a second one is on the way. I like that it’s easy to use and there is a light you can turn on if need be, there is also an alarm that you can sound off and it is loud. However, it takes a second to connect to the video footage. There is a slight lag but overall for the money it’s good quality.

The media could not be loaded. First bought 2 cameras in Dec 2022. Also purchased 2 solar panels separately. Charged the cameras, then installed the VicoHome app on my tablet. Got the cameras paired with the app - no problems. Initially, I purchased the cameras to watch the stray cats coming around. Live in a rural area and had also have coyotes to deal with. I had placed the cameras in a variety of locations, before deciding I needed 2 more. Purchased 2 more a month later.The cameras are located:1. Cat's room. I have a male TNR (Trap,Neuter,Release) that appeared 5 yrs ago. He has tried to kill my female (she appeared 10 yrs ago), so he is kept in his own room and let out, via window, every afternoon, when I bring the female in. I've watched a few stray cats that appeared 7 months ago, enter his room, eat his food, lay on the bed - mostly at night. Yet the videos are clear as day. Camera running on battery. Charge lasts several months. (Honestly have only plugged it in twice since purchase) 2. Under the house. I have a food and water dish under the house for the strays, protected them in the winter from the cold. Dark under there. The camera works just fine. Can see which cat shows up when. Also helped to spot a water pipe breakage. Camera plugged in to outlet that's also under the house.3. Chicken pen. Got more chicks and noticed that area was a traffic run for the coyotes. Will watch the footage to gauge when the coyotes show up. Camera hooked up to a small solar panel. Retains full charge constantly.4. On flatbed trailer. Placed at the opposite end of the property (300 yards from house/wifi). To watch for coyotes or other animal visitors (caught neighbor's dog on it the other day). Has provided awesome sunset shots. Had a massive storm recently - watched the nickel sized hail bounce off the ground. Camera unscathed. Camera hooked up to a small solar panel. Retains full charge constantly.-I don't have any of the cameras mounted. Though will do the chicken pen camera as the weeds are growing to obscure its line of sight. The cameras outside have weathered snow, wind, hail, rain, and heat. Still performing wonderfully.- I personally love the picture quality. Daylight scenes, obviously, show more detail and distance. Nighttime is still quite clear, though the distance is reduced. Unless rain or dirt covers the lens. Has happened. Wipe off and good to go.- Motion detection is usually good though can be wanting. Have watched Romeo come into the bedroom from the window but never seen him leave. I've walked in the cat's bedroom and it's recorded me at the far end and leaving but not walking in. Has happened a few times but is generally great at motion capture. Hence 4 of 5 stars.- The sound is exceptionally clear and loud. The two-way sound works great. I've spoken my husband through one and could hear him clearly responding back.- I didn't pay for the subscription - I just use the free service with the VicoHome. I get 3 days of 20 secs videos that I can download. They automatically get stored in the Google picture gallery. You set up the videos record segments yourself. Determine the length of the video (20 secs is longest), Motion detection (low, med, high), record in SD or HD, alert notifications (because of the chickens moving constantly, I turned off the notifications. Got one every 20 secs), have light activated or not. There is a button to press for a white light to come on. I used that to see the water leak under the house in better detail.- Each camera is listed by video window on the app. An icon will show you if there are motion detected videos to watch per camera.Not sure what else to say except that I'm purchasing more to place on the house. Had a coyote howl outside the kitchen window last night and haven't seen Romeo or Zoreh since. Hopefully, I'll see them on the camera under the house tonight or tomorrow.Videos/photo: 1. The media could not be loaded. We bought 5 of these cameras a couple weeks ago and love them. They were quick and easy to set up and install (and we are not very techy people). The quality of the picture in 2K is amazingly clear, and the nighttime, infrared picture is really great too. We do not have a subscription to the advanced service but when motion is detected, it records a 10 second clip. We have 4 with solar panels and one without, but I wish I had ordered them all with solar panels. We have one solar panel mounted in a location that does not get direct sunlight but it still charges the camera well. The one without the solar panel is still holding a good charge on the battery. I did not charge it before we mounted it so it only had about 75% charge but after 2 weeks it still has about 50%.

I beg Amazon to put this review on top to save lives.I only gave 4 stars so other people actually SEE my review, & get the honest review & purchase you deserve. Amazon, even at the cost of human life, now hides the lower reviews deep down where it takes people a bit of work & a lot of patiently waiting to dig them up.I couldn't send this trail camera back bcus I'd already given away my other camera that required a cord. I had a stalker/sexual harasses in my building, living just 1 door down. & our Exit is 1 foot from his door, 15 feet from mine. It is very secluded exit, & overall location in the country, no witnesses, no neighbors, not even passing traffic- espclly out our exit. & the bldg has NO security cameras inside or out. The man smoked rock & drank heavily & was obsessed with me. He did get evicted after the Judge approved my restraining order. However he's lived here 10 yrs & the other neighbors are sure he's made MANY copies of keys he's lost, & later found. Many times over.So I needed any kind of cam I could get, & couldnt risk my life for the 7-10 days it'd be to send it back & wait for a new one bcus I'm poor. And, it's an hour & half drive to the nearest town where I can return Amazon items. So I'm stuck with what I get. FALSE ADVERTISING can get somebody killed or raped.Cons: It only records for a maximum of 20 seconds. You choose between 3 recording settings. The max is 20 seconds. HOWEVER, even then, the subject must walk right past it from behind. Or within 10 feet from in front of it. It can't be triggered from 6 or 10 or 15 feet away like regular security cameras. I desperately needed (& still do, since he moved just 2 blocks away & still has friends in my building & so he comes on the property at the other end), I desperately needed the camera to be able to trigger when somebody came in the back door which is only fifteen feet from my door. I have a service dog that I have to take in & out that door, my car is parked by that door, that's the door I needed security on.But This camera can not keep me safe/prove he did it, UNLESS he were coming from the other way- from up behind it, walks past it, 'towards' the back door. But even then comma no matter what it only records for TWENTY, FOR 20 seconds, even if there is still activity & motion going on RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT. And that makes it a trail cam. I wish the company would help me by sending my a different model, even if I have to pay more, & return this. But again. I didn't have time to return it. I needed any security I could get especially while he was in the process of moving out because it very much angered him that he was evicted because of me pulling a restraining order out on him. My old cam Caught him in such lewd & dusgusting acts that the judge approved the restraining order at 1am in the morning when the I emailed the footage to the court. The reason I couldn't keep that camera up was because it had a cord that was getting pinched in the door and it kept cutting off. After a few days the court was destroyed. I'd have to find another one for it. And so I ordered this camera because it's wireless.No here come the good points about it!:The battery lasted a month on 1 Charge. It unscrews & screws back in easily. The footage is pretty clear. I've never used it in the dark bcus it's above the outside of my apartment door, & the hall is always brightly lit. I guess that's all I can say about it that's good. Is that once you fully charge it it'll last about a month. But again , that's probably because it only records between six and twenty seconds whatever you set it to. But 20 "SECONDS" is the maximum you can set it to record your demise. And it will not detect motion, unless that person/animal comes right up on it... then it records for a maximum 20 seconds as it walks away. But, if a person or animal is walking straight towards it, It will not start recording until they are just about 10 feet from it & moving past the camera.I hope the company or Amazon does reach out to me to help me. If they do, I'll update my review. People don't buy these type of cameras to goof off in front of. They buy them to protect their & their children's & pets & neighbors LIFE. ♡♡♡

Installation and setup was extremely easy. Picture quality is excellent. I would buy again.
