This TV stand is perfect for our needs because it’s relatively compact, minimalistic and fits in a corner. I like the mid century modern look. It’s easy to assemble if you follow the instructions carefully and pay attention to the angles of the smaller pieces. It took my husband and me less than an hour to put together. Once assembled, it’s very sturdy and still lightweight. It holds our 55” TV easily. One thing to note is that it has a hole to feed through cables in the center back piece, but not in the sides. So if you prefer the sliding doors to the sides and have things with cables to put on the smaller shelves, you’ll have to modify the tv stand to allow cables to feed through the sides in the back. We drilled small holes with no problems for our Apple TV and video game systems. I didn’t take a star off for that because it wasn’t a big issue at all. The shelves are sturdy and the doors slide easily in the track. I absolutely love this tv stand and bought a matching coffee table.

Exceeds expectations

I like this console, as we have a small family room and it was very difficult to find a TV console to fit into this space. Pros are: it came packaged very well with no damage; it fits perfectly in our space and the wood doors appear to be real wood. The cons are the top part where our TV is located clearly does not look like real wood (it is not) I know most products are particle board these days but you would think they would have real wood on top? It looks like it will scratch really easily so don’t move the TV. I also did not like how low it was, and wanted my TV eye level, so we took off the bottom part and attached hairpin iron legs that go with our other furniture (ordered the 12 inch through Amazon) I can’t speak to assembly because we had a handyman assemble once we saw all the parts! Like the other reviews mentioned, he had a cut a larger hole in the back of the unit because all the cords for our devices didn’t fit and stuck out so we couldn’t close the doors. Overall, wish this was about $50-75 dollars less since the top part is not real wood and for the price, they probably could have included a real wood top IMO.

At this price, I thought it might look super cheap, but decided to give it a go. So glad I did. It gives a traditional bedroom a more modern, eclectic flair.

This tv stand exceeded my expectations. It is MDF, but very sturdy, and of nice quality. It looks great. I liked it so much that I bought the matching record player stand.

Love the look of this stand. Not too difficult to put together. Sturdy and functional. I have a 55 inch tv on it. Recommend

I was so excited about getting my vintage TV stand when I got out every piece to start building it I realize that it came with no directions at all on how to put it together. I was so pissed off that now I have to figure out how to make this without directions. 😡

Based on the configuration of the room, I needed a small corner table, this tv console table was perfect for a 48-inch television. Had family members help with the assembly, not difficult, but was glad I had help. It is a beautiful addition to the family room.
