Voigtlander 40mm f1.2 Nokton Aspherical for Z Mount, New, USA Warranty

WOW! Impressive lens - if you don’t mind manual focus. It’s 40mm focal length is comfortable to work with and f1.2 offers creative opportunities with low light and depth of field. I love the character of this lens, nice and creamy out of focus backgrounds and sharp sharp sharp in focus subject. The way the Zf picks out the eye and sticks with it makes manual focus a breeze. Just turn the smooth focus ring til the pick box turns green or hit the ok button for a quick closeup view. For such a small lens, it’s got some heft to it. It’s not heavy by any means, it just feels solid. My only wish is for some weather sealing or at least a rear gasket but no issues so far. I’ve threaded a UV filter into the hood and the hood stays on the lens for some protection on the front.

Excellent well made piece fo gear. Sharp lens + the lens feeds data to the camera, but NOT auto focus.
