Well made, all metal casing with clear controls and readouts
I needed a unit with both voltage and current regulation and this unit fitted the bill perfectly. I have run it at full current (10A) but low voltage and it didn't even get warm. I suspect at higher voltages and full current this would change but at the moment my use case is either high current or high voltage but not both.It works excellently for fettling NiMh batteries that have lain unused for a while and developed internal dendritic shorts. Set the voltage to 1.4V, the current limit to 2A and connect a cell +ve to +ve. Initially the unit will current limit until the dendrites are burnt through then rapidly switch to voltage limiting and around a 200ma charging current. Leave it like that for a few seconds and then the cell can be charged normally in a smart charger. It also works great for powering a home made hot wire polystyrene cutter.

Exactly What I Wanted
This is my first proper bench power supply and I've only had it two days but it looks great. It’s very easy to get the exact power you want/need. Every thing is simply laid out with a very clear panel with the read out. It’s also a perfect size being small enough to fit nicely on a table but still feels solid with a metal case and plastic panel. It's also very quiet and I wasn’t expecting it to be as accurate as it is, especially in this price range, it’s simply amazing.I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but there’s a 9 second delay when switching off, it’s not my only piece of equipment to have a delay so I think I will be ok with it. I do recommend it for hobbyist like myself.

Excellent power supply – great for electroplating
Surprisingly accurate bench power supply. In all honesty, I wasn't expecting it to be so accurate, but when tested the output using a professional, calibrated Kewtech multimeter, the voltage was spot on, right down to 1/100th of a volt. The unit is quite light weight, but is well built, and had a clear display and smooth-turning knobs. The terminals accept both banana plugs and Y connectors. In the box, in addition to the power supply, you'll find a kettle lead, two colour-coded cables, a small instruction pamphlet, and a larger sheet explaining how to set a constant current.I bought this mainly for electroplating, and it does a stirling job, making the process fast and simple.Would I recommend it – absolutely!

Waste of money. It's not supply set voltage but higher.
Waste of money. Thanks of that power supply i wasn't able to top balance my lifepo4 battery. It's overcharged some cells. Don't buy it !!!
