Best Indian cookbook
As a casual but dedicated fan of the food of the Indian subcontinent I was delighted to find this book; it's the most accessible such cookbook I've ever seen

Amazing book
This cookery book arrived with me yesterday. I’m in love with the recipes. On Saturday last the Buttered Chicken Recipe was displayed in the Irish Times supplement. I made it on Sunday and the family were enthralled, it was truly gorgeous and not much work at all. The instructions were so clear - and all the other recipes in the book follow the same pattern. Since writing this review I have made another three dishes and they have been devoured by my very appreciative family. The recipes are very clearly laid out and the results are truly good. I will now get myself to the writer's restaurant in Greystones as soon as I possibly can. Good job I live in Bray, Co Wicklow.

Not the Pickle version of recipes I was hoping for
I’ve cooked the chicken biryani & the butter chicken so far, both recipes followed exactly to the letter, neither of them were anywhere near what you’d get in the Pickle restaurant and neither even tasted that good, very bland. I have a much better butter chicken recipe that I cook often and will be sticking to that. As one other commenter said, he is definitely holding back with this book.
