Arrived in pristine condition, but was only saved by the amazon padded envelop. It does not come packaged as per photo not does it include thermal past. (I didn't need it, but it cost them a star).It is new and it does work.

Update: Everything worked fine. Still staying at 4 stars because it was not shipped in anything ESD (considering the value of the item) and the fact that it was open box.Not new, as listed.Original:I'll find out this weekend, but I purchased this as a "new item" and it was shipped in non-ESD bubble wrap, came in a clear plastic package, and had no ESD packaging.Certainly doesn't seem very 'new item'. Hope it works since it's a gift... Will update.Fun fact: I ordered some PCIe blanks and even THOSE came in ESD packaging. 😅
