Ease of setup
This printer was very easy to setup and connect to my wireless network and devices. Printing quality is excellent. I don't need a high-speed printer, so this one is fine for my needs. Ink replacement is very inexpensive compared to what I was paying for HP ink cartridges.

Does Not Hold WiFi Connection
I have had an Epson in the past and loved it. I purchased this Epson printer in May, 2024 and liked the smaller footprint, but all features are menu driven and it takes time to get used to them. I did get used to them and found the printer to be appropriate for home use, although it prints slow.Within the past 3 weeks I have determined that the printer will not hold a WiFi connection with my laptop which is less than four feet from the Epson printer. I have loaded and unloaded the software, drivers, firmware and started from scratch as if it was a completely new installation at least four times...all of this to say, it still does not work.A most frustrating experience with a product that should work reliably.

Wiil this save money on ink?
Bought this after my HP printer went toes-up after 7 years and liked the "tank" feature for ink. Checked several rating services like Consumers, and thought the Epson was the right choice for the price. Unit arrived on one day (!) in good condition and took me about an hour to install. Online manual easily available and helpful. The "quick start" sheet shipped with the unit was OK but I needed to go to the manual for a couple of questions.Ink tanks filled easily via a clever system, but the initial fill used up about 90% of the ink because the lines to the printer head needed to be filled. The balance of the ink went into the tanks after the startup. We'll see how long they last and cost, .I used "HP INK" subscription system with the HP and it worked well and was convenient but expensive. I was paying $13.99/month for 300 copies for ink sent to my house. I'm sure this will be much cheaper.I downgraded print quality a bit because, as compared to the HP, the color quality is acceptable, but not quite as vivid. B&W is also a bit less intense but acceptable for home use.One other difference is that it seems to take a bit longer buffering before printing, especially multi-page documents, that the HP. Not really a problem, but I find myself wondering if it got the print command before it actually starts.Long term will tell if the extra $100+ cost will pay in ink savings. It shouldn't take long at $13.99/month!

Hello print from anywhere; goodbye ink cartridges!
My previous all-in-one performed great but broke the bank with constant ink cartridge replacements. Nice to have ink tanks! No more transferring documents to the pc for printing. Beautiful print jobs from PC, Mac, iPad, and iPhones

Clear prints
Love the use of the ink as opposed to the cartridge. Lasts much longer. Good quality printing. Haven’t printed pictures yet.

Beware of This Seller - No Warranty Coverage
Great printer but documernt feeder quit working after a few months. Contacted Epson but it said no warranty coverage because seller purchased the printer from a third party. Seller misrepresents that there is a manufacture's warranty.

Initial set up
I didn't purchase on Amazon, but wanted to document my experience with the set up and initial testing. I can't report on anything beyond day one, so if something should go 'wonky' later on, I will adjust my review accordingly.Ease of set up: A breeze. I've never used a printer where I had to pour in my own ink, but they make it incredibly easy- you literally can't get it wrong. Moving through the installation and set up of wi-fi was also seamless. Computer connected to printer without issue.Quality of print: Now I did do the full 'adjustment' phase that is offered as you are setting up, so maybe that helped the print quality, but I did a test page with color to check both the print quality and also the 2-sided printing. The print quality was really, really, really good. I am also planning to print photos at a later date, so can update if those don't turn out as good. 2-sided printing of standard 8x11 printer paper went just fine. No issues. Again, if there are issues in the future I can update this review, but for now- it's totally 5- stars for me.

It won't do two sided copies on 8.5 x 11 paper
The printer does fine on uncomplicated printing, but I'm having fits trying to get it to print Christmas Cards from Publisher. I used the same printing instructions I used in past years for front and back printing and the Epson simply says that the paper size ( letter size paper) is not compatible with front and back printing. So I decided to print one side and then run the paper though a second time for the back. I wasted a lot of paper achieving this simple task. As the photos show, the printer superimposed photos on each other, cut off portions of the photos, would inexplicably stop printing at four or five copies when asked to do 20 and would reverse pages. It also takes a long time of buffering before it will start printing at all. What was a simple job of setting up front and back printing and doing the 40 Christmas cards has taken hours, much wasted paper and ink, and I'm still struggling to get the work done. I have tried the support system to get help and got into a rotation that kept leading back to the site where I started. The support phone number gets a message saying there is no longer support over the phone and suggests visiting the website. I may just take the loss and get a printer that will do two sided printing on letter size paper and work with the Publisher system.
