Great large TV for little money
I managed to grab this 65inch TV for an absolute bargain £361 from Amazon Warehouse deal event with an extra 20% off and it’s the steal of the century.Noticed other retailers are selling at up to £600 and Amazon itself at £545 so a hefty saving. The details were “ Very Good Condition “ supposedly in a damaged box but I would say it’s in “ As New condition “ and the box , although not original box was perfect condition.Anyway about the TV itself…..well it looks very impressive…much more sophisticated than the 55inch Hisense it replaced.Without any tweaking of the picture adjustments i was pretty happy with the picture and I can’t comment on the sound as I’m using a separate sound bar.Having only had the set for a few hours I haven’t found much if anything to fault.Having read some reviews I have to agree with the positive ones and I really don’t understand some of the negative ones as what do people want for the money? Granted I had it cheaply but I would probably be happy to have paid £545 for it or maybe a bit more.Yes it’s not actually Panasonic in true essence as it’s a Vestel set as Panasonic only actually manufacture their higher end products. Does it really matter? Not as far as I’m concerned . If a product is good I don’t care who makes it although it’s obviously nice to have the Panasonic badge on the front of it for others to think it’s much more expensive than it actually is.Don’t expect OLED or anywhere near and you should find yourself pleasantly surprised with how good this TV is. I definitely am and I’m so glad I bought it especially at the price.Maybe when I have had it for a while my views may change slightly but for now it’s a fantastic TV and I am very happy 😀

Good picture
Light with a small, unobtrusive surround. Installed on wall very easily. Grandson set it all up for me! Easy to operate. Good picture and sound. Quality as you would expect from Panasonic and good value

Lacklustre and if you need to return Amazon doesn't even collect!
Overall a very basic TV. Home screen and remote functions are confused, just not that intuitive. We bought it as wanted to use the Freeview Play app from Playstore so that it could work just off Internet, without an aerial. Turns out that isn't possible as it has aerial Freeview Play built in and so the app isn't an option. So no use for our purposes and need to return.I was horrified that returning this to Amazon requires us to organise our own collection. Super unimpressed for a large item when the Amazon van is on our road daily. So unimpressed that I wouldn't order any large item from Amazon again. As an update edit, have now found that the freeview aerial connection seems to be dodgy, sometimes giving good signal and other times a broken picture. A friend actually had the same issue on a Panasonic. So, it has to go back even if Parcelforce (the only carrier who will take it) won't insure it. Absolutely ridiculous situation with Amazon taking no responsibility. Stars reduced from 2 to 1 and Prime membership won't be renewing.

Fantastic for the price.
Pro: Arrived quickly and was well packaged, it was a cheap replacement for my old TV, although cheap it's a fantastic TV, it's easy to see and hear, it's also has android built it for those apps you want on your TV. .Con: None

The TV is OK but a slight disappointment
We stuck with Panasonic because we were so pleased with our 55 inch 1080p TV. So after so many years we upgraded to a 65 inch 4K TV and kept to Panasonic. The TV is mildly disappointing... OK but not as good as our old 55inch 1080p.This TV is very bright. Too bright really and so we had to reduce how bright it is. It also makes faces on TV look not a little pastey and overly made-up. With blu rays the colour is a little on the brown side with the reds rather subdued - but it is easy to correct this in the settings. The worst thing is that the backlighting is uneven across the screen which greatly affects the eveness of the blacks especially when the screen is largely black watching, for instance space scenes. This makes it very difficult to adjust brightness and contrast across the screen and instead you have to settle for a compromise between various backlightings under the screen.Currently we also have an issue with our reciever since getting the TV in that when using the blu ray player the sound now occasionally hiccups (we've had the blue ray player for years and this is the first time it has done this). I'm trying to find out why it is doing this so as to solve it, but haven't been able to yet. [SOLVED SEE BELOW]We also have another issue when playing the old panasonic blu ray player with the new TV in that tiny white speckles pepper the screen like dust on the negative of a cinema film. I haven't solved that yet, and will be buying new HDMI cables of higher spec to see if this is solved by that. [SOLVED SEE BELOW]I mention the sound hiccups and the white speckles because I have not been able to find a solution for these yet and so they may be problematic for other buyers also. Prospective buyers might be helped by me mentioning this. I think it is definitely some sort of interraction problem between the Panasonic TV and the Panasonic Blu Ray player - and I hope it is down to the HDMI cables from the player to the reciever and then to the TV as I've tried all I can think of in the settings. So currently it is an OK TV but slightly disappointing.I wasn't looking for 4K but there seems little option. I'd have sooner stuck with 1080p as there is often very little difference if any between a regular 1080p blu ray playing on the 4K TV and a 4K blu ray. The picture detail looks a little sharper on both - but between them, very little noticable difference on a 65 inch TV. (Yes, I have set my blu ray player to a 4K signal output).I'll come back and edit if I find a solution to the speckling and hiccupping.***EDIT: While pecking away at the problem with hiccupping sound and dancing white dots, I believe I have found the solution.HDMI cable comes in various varieties, the latest being HDMI 2.1.I took advice online which said that HDMI 2.0 has enough bandwidth for 4K TVs - and this is true. HOWEVER, I happened across a little information which is not so commonly disseminated. This TV does not use the old ARC (Audio Return Channel) and uses the updated eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel). eARC is only supported by HDMI 2.1.So I purchased a new HDMI 2.1 cable to have from my blu ray player to my reciever and then another HDMI 2.1 cable from my reciever to the new TV.It looks like SUCCESS in getting rid of the audio hiccupping and the dancing white specks. So please make sure you have HDMI 2.1 cables when connecting this eARC TV to your other hardware. Whilst 4K will run on HDMI 2.0, eARC will be faulty. Use HDMI 2.1.

Excellent value
Bought as a bedroom replacement for a Cello, that was always glitching, Well packaged, easy set up (10 mins), integrated with all my previous used & registered apps, (through Google account)..Used wirelessly..no problems...Sound is well defined, although I prefer a sound Bar, crisp picture, plenty of scope to personalise..overall excellent value for features & size, highly recommend.

Slick Tv
This telly is so light in weight considering that it's a 65 inch screen you wouldn't think it is so slick and light. Beautiful picture and easy to install with clear instructions.
