The media could not be loaded. The good... easy assembly, but you'll need a #2 Phillips head a 14mm box wrench or socket and small crescent wrench, heavy duty construction sturdy legs. Quiet, adjustable speed and clear lid.The bad... there are some sharp edges and O got a couple of small nicks on two fingers while unpacking. The worst is that there are no side handles. It really needs handles and I'll add them to move it around. The ugly...it unpacked with a fist sized dent in the bottom but despite the heavy construction zi gave it a decent thump from the inside with a rubber mallet and no harm done.Overall very nice for the price. I got it on sale for $160 but probably worth full price too and so much easier than my manual extractor!

Worth the money
It worked perfectly for extracting the honey from my frames! I only have one hive so it didn’t have a ton of frames but with this I’m thinking about splitting my hive this spring.

I like it.
Great extractor for the price. Easy to put together and operate. Was very surprised by how quiet it was. In summary here are pros and cons.ProsGood price, works well, easy to use and put together. Disassembly is easy but you do need a tool to loosen the mounting nuts.ConsSlight defect on one of the hinges for the lid. So that side has a small gap, no biggie. Slightly awkward to put med frames in the perpendicular slots, but they do fit. Disassembly is easy but assembly can be a bit fiddely due to the arms that attach to the motor/ central bar not being rigid. They basically flop around and it’s fiddely to align them again. Also no biggie.Lastly the hole for honey gate is a little high up the side of the drum so you need to tip the extractor quite a lot to get the last couple gallons out and if you tip it a 5 gallon bucket no longer fits underneath. I set it up on the longest leg setting as well so this is the main reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Luckily I’m strong enough to have no issues picking it up and putting it at an angle on top of the bucket to drain the last bit. The extractor seems well made but is not overly heavy which helps.FYI don’t tighten the main 4 nuts on the motor/ central bar too much, I think you could bend it out of shape if you are not careful. I basically used a socket by hand to tighten so there was no play. That was good enough.

Quiet and efficient and I love the speed and the two different size of frames
The media could not be loaded. We really, really like this extractor I run two sizes of frames for my honey frames and this lets me do the small and the medium. It will do too small and two medium at the same time. The speed of the extractor is really good. I did not find that I had to hold it in place even when it was on high, but I would still recommend attaching it to something if you’re gonna be doing a lot of frames I only had 10 Hives and yeah that’s a lot of frames but I was able to just use it as it was and not attach it to a border or anything. It’s a really good extractor and I would really highly recommend it.

Defective with horrible customer service
This honey spinner was purchased for my daughter for her birthday, but she did not need it until only recently (honey season). The motor worked for less than a minute. We reached out to customer service immediately (before the warranty expiration). Initially I was impressed with their customer service--they determined that the problem was with the "governor part" and the said they would send us a replacement part free of charge. This was on October 10.At this point I figured the part was in the mail. I was wrong. On October 23, I finally heard from them again. They said they are unable to send the part because it contains a capacitor and that is on the "prohibited item" list and that they cannot ship it. (Which makes me wonder--how on earth did they ship it to begin with?) They ALSO told me that the item is past its warranty date. (Apparently if they wait long enough--2 weeks in this case--then it passes the warranty date and they are no longer responsible.)Most recently, they want me to find a place to have it repaired and they are willing to give me $20 dollars. No thank you. $20 will get me nowhere. Do not buy this product. They will not stand by their product. In fact, I would avoid any other VEVOR product as well.

Great Extractor
I’m new to beekeeping and got this on a whim for my first honey gathering. I wanted to de-cap the frames to save the wax cells rather than crush and strain it.I could not have been happier. It was very easy to put together and worked like a charm. I quickly and easily processed all the frames and had the honey bottled. It was easy to clean up and I look forward to getting to use it again next time.It was nice to be able to control the speed and the gasket on the bottom did not leak at all. My only issue was the small screws that hold on the top doors would shake loose. I had to retighten them a few times. I will probably add a few drops of glue to hold them in place. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this extractor.

Great customer service
This honey extractor is solidly built. Customer service at Vevor has been fantastic (Rosaria). Mine had a speed controller failure and I am still giving it 5 stars because they really stand behind their product. They asked me a few simple questions about the problem and then quickly sent me a replacement part without charges of any kind.
