It works great and has a beautiful navy color. We really enjoy that it is all silicone. 2 of the sides are more stiff while 2 are more flexible

This is silicone. It maybe more pricey but worth it. My first one like 95% of them was nylon and after a couple of uses the end was looking ragged and chipping off in pieces. Not this one. The silicone is very heat resistant. It is doing great.I mainly use it for browning ground beef. It breaks the beef up and used with a little rotation it turns it over. What a great invention!

Favorite new tool

This tool has made separating meat a lot easier when cooking. It really is a tool for laziness...but it really speeds up the process of dicing fine ground meat in a cooking pan. It appears to be made of high quality silicone, I have cooked with it in very hot pans and it does not show any signs of warping or melting. It is big, I just put it in my utensil holder but between the handle and four chopping sides it takes up a bit of space. I am very happy to have it though and it gets used a couple times per week. I usually put it in the dishwasher when I'm done cooking and and it has shown no signs of wear over the better part of a year. Highly recommend.

I loved the quality so much, I went to the GIR website and purchased all of the utensils. It may not be cheap, but it’s worth it!

This was a 13" as stated, but unfortunately the mashing end was too large especially for use in my smaller pots.

Have been looking everywhere for a version made of silicone and NOT nylon. Nylon is a hard plastic and can scratch pans. Silicone is strong, durable, heat resistant and won't scratch the pans. Very happy with this purchase, easy to use, easy to clean and comes in nice colors.

I like how it is not made of plastic. Does a great job breaking up meat.
