Seriously impressive!
I use laptop stands regularly for laptops (obviously) but also for a variety of other devices. This one is an instant favourite for a number of reasons:- it's very sturdy. I don't have any concerns about the support it offers my devices, which is essential for typing on a laptop and for using it with MIDI controllers and standalone music devices. I use it with an Ableton Push 2 and an Akai MPC One so it takes quite a hammering during finger drumming, for example.- it has 2 upright holders (I don't know what term to use, but the bits at the bottom that stop your laptop falling off the stand). This is massively important to me as I've got a number of stands with only one holder and, although they're fine for most laptop use, these can be quite unstable with music production devices.- it has a range of positions. Often taken as a given, but an important factor for me. I've got a few fixed laptop stands (the Ikea ones, for example) which can be fine for some uses but I often struggle to get my devices at the right angle with them. No such issue with this.- it's incredibly compact! This is a HUGE plus for me. I can throw it in my laptop bag which means I always have the right angle for my devices. Not just convenient but also, as somebody who has suffered with RSIs, really quite vital for me.There are many laptop stands out there (and I own a bunch of them) but I do thoroughly recommend this one over most of the others I've used.

Better than others
This is perfect for what it is needed for, sturdy, great grip and the fact I can fold it up and it doesnt take up hardly any space is a bonus. I have had others that were more expensive but this is the best one I've had. They offer extended guarantee too so they believe in their product and value their customers.

Fine for the price
Its OK for the price I paid. Its easy to use & comes with its own little bag. More robust then the plastic one. Good to travel with. The only downside is the arms to raise or lower, easily move. Small bit of bluetac sorted it.

Fits perfectly to my laptop, and looks great in black!
I was looking for a stand for my Gigabyte Aero 15 that was really light weight, easy to carry and foldable. Most of the ones I could find are in grey aluminium, which doesn't match to most of the light weight gaming laptops out there... So I looked for a black one that could complement the look of my laptop, and found the one from Klearlook. After a week of use, I can say that I am super happy with this product! It looks great, and well above the quality I was expecting for this low price. The stand is a little bit less sturdy than I expected. I'd like to have a bit more tight so it feels stronger when holding on my laptop, but for this price range and quality of build, I'm perfectly happy. I wouldn't recommend going for a more expensive product... as they all look kind of the same and probably provide similar quality. The only fact than you can get a light weight aluminium foldable stand that comes in black makes this item well above the other ones! Gamers have the right to chose a look that compliments their laptops.Keep in mind this is not perfect to hold on laps, but gives you the possibility to play with your machine in the bed while keeping space underneath the fan. So your machine stays cool, and you don't kill your fans.

Fantastic value for the quality
Recently bought this to help while working from home after looking at others including more expensive options. I was surprised by the amount of positive feedback given the price but decided to give it a try which turned out to be a great decision! The item itself is made of aluminium and is very light, it also comes with it's own carry case if you plan to travel with it.It is easy to use but I'd echo what some others have already said regarding the legs, I had accidentally knocked one of them into the next hole while moving it the holder around and it was difficult to notice the difference just from looking. Definitely worth taking a second look before putting your laptop on. Once in place the legs do hold in place very well but care needs to be taken if moving it.I use a 17" laptop which is the maximum size from the product description but have no concerns about how sturdy the holder is now that I've tried it and the non-skid pads work well on my desk. The fold out supports also seem to have some kind of rubber material on them so even though I've only had this a short while it does not look like the laptop will be scratched from using this product.Having bought this to raise the laptop screen to an angle which is healthier for my neck and to free up some space for an external keyboard and mouse, I can say that I'm really happy with how the product is helping with both problems.

Laptop stands
Ordered 3 of these for work. Great, sturdy and portable. A number of colleagues have also purchased these since.

Not as wide as expected...
Pro's: A good price. Easy to adjust the set up for various sized laptops. Robust with rubber buffers where needed to prevent scratching. Lightweight and carry bag/sleeve a bonus whilst travelling.Con's: On a personal note, using a 38cm / 15" laptop, I found the maximum width of just under 20cm /8 " just a wee bit wanting... an overlap of just under 10 cm / 4" per side?Used with care, at the price, it is well made and, when folded can fit into the smallest of spaces .Given all of the above, I bought two (2) so it wasn't all gloom and doom.

Excellent portable laptop stand for work
Excellent laptop stand. I've used it almost every day at work for over 8 months now and there are no problems. For me it's light and compact and reliable enough to carry with me in my backpack to work each day and it has several levels of height adjustments which has been very useful. Good rubber grips means it doesn't slip on any table top and the laptop doesn't slip either. (Note: this is not the type of stand to use on your lap.) Highly recommended!

Great laptop stand, travels easily in a backpack when folded flat.
This laptop stand works extremely well for my needs. My use case: I work as a consultant and work mostly out of customer sites in whatever random cubicle or desk, or table they can spare while I'm onsite. I like to use an external Microsoft Surface Ergonomic keyboard and to gain the space needed for that, I need to be able to get my huge, clunky laptop up off the desk a bit. This stand in particular works very well for my needs, because it collapses flat and comes with a handy little carrying pouch. This means when I'm done at a location, I can flatten this, pop it in the case, and put it in my backpack! The case makes it so I'm not worried about the metal stand scratching anything else that might be in the same pouch in my backpack. I use this with a very thick, heavy HP Omen 15" gaming laptop and the stand holds up very well. It also gives you some space to tick some extra cables, or your ac adapter brick or whatever underneath the laptop if you raise it up a bit. My only complaint is that the front part that flips up to prevent your laptop from sliding down doesn't always stay exactly where I want it, but it's not really an issue and is most likely because my laptop is p is so heavy compared to most ultra books or convertible laptops normal people use at work. Good purchase and I'd buy another one if I ever needed and I'd recommend it to friends as well.

Great little stand
The stand was a really well made piece. Nice and sturdy, held my 17 inch laptop great. It folded up really thin and could be put in a computer bag with a computer easily. It did have a nice little case to store or travel in.However, it was bought for my wife's 15 inch laptop, which she hasn't gotten yet. We returned it because it didn't have a low enough setting angle she could type from. It sat up too high for her and she wanted something that sat at a way lower angle. If it had a setting that would have been more comfortable for her we definitely would have kept it.

Overall Great Product
I am very happy with my purchase. It performs exactly as described and does what I need it to do. It is multi-purpose so you can use it to prop up pretty much anything you could want to prop up. It has a sturdy structure and it seems like it is made with high quality materials. Nothing is loose on it, including the rubber grip pads which prevent it from sliding around on your desk or whatever surface you place it on without damaging it.The reason I knocked a star off of the rating is because there are a few things I wish were different. They aren't necessarily flaws with the product itself, more just me being picky. I wish that it had more positions to adjust to, specifically a little less of an angle so when using my laptop, it would sit a little lower to the desk. If it were lower, it would just offer a more ergonomic position/ wrist angle for typing. My wrists get sore anyway after typing a bit, but a lower angle would be much nicer. It's still more comfortable than when the laptop is flat against the desk.Another improvement that I would like to see would be an build in, or attachable, cushion for your wrists. I could buy a separate one and place it in front, but it would be a cool and convenient addition to this product if it were a part of it.One final thing I wish was when I open/close the laptop, it kind of gets hung up on the lip/shelf that the laptop rests on to prevent it from sliding off when at an angle. In order to close the laptop fully, or open it from a fully closed position, I have to slide it up the incline a tiny bit to give it clearance. It's just a combination of gravity, physics, geometry, the type of laptop I have and the fact that the shelf/lip that supports the item it's holding also has those protective rubber grips.Overall though, I think this is a great product and I use it on a daily basis. It makes the viewing and typing angles of my laptop much better. It is extremely affordable and convenient, and it does exactly what I need it to do.

Watch your wrists
Definitely a good idea, however, for a train commuter like myself, unraveling this contraption and getting it set to the right height and angle can be more trouble than it's worth. Also, there is a padding at the bottom portion to keep the laptop stable, however it makes typing and mouse using very uncomfortable. Was so excited to get it that I threw all the packaging away, otherwise I would have returned it. Could work for others though.
