This Blackout Blind provided us with is an excellent solution to get complete darkness in a spare bedroom when we had guests staying without having to go tot he expense and inconvenience of fitting blinds to the wall.They are made from 100% blackout material, and effectively blocks out all light, ensuring no waking up early when the sun comes out in Summer.They were easy to stick up and required no drilling, making it simple to install and remove at home. Say that they would be versatile to use in other situations such as lofts & n nurseries and also when travelling as they are very light in weight and fold easily. The material is strong and could be cut to fit various window sizes.My only negative comment was that they had a slight odour when initially coming out of the packaging but we just hung them in the fresh air for a bit and this disappeared quite quickly.Overall, for the price, these blackout blinds are a convenient and effective option for anyone needing to temporarily block out light.

The blackout from this item is amazing, took my time to make sure I cut it right, went for the whole window in one piece rather than 3 smaller pieces and the babys room could be a sensory deprivation tank the room is "black" even during the day with the door closed! I normally rip it down once the kids are up which is easy with the velcro stickers, putting it back up isn't much hassle either. There is enough to do 2 windows id say if you have the patience to cut exactly what is needed. I used the velcro only on the top and bottom, 4 stickers each

The material is easy to cut to shape (although some questionable cutting skills from the manufacturer) and is opaque, as advertised. The velcro is ok, not sure how long it will last.However, the product doesn't look like the picture, it comes folded and impossible to get the marks out, so unless it is behind something or you will take it up and down everyday it looks untidy. But for the price its okay.

The material is truly opaque, as advertised. Easy to cut to the required shape. The velcro isn't super useful in my case because it's quite thick, and a) separates the fabric from the window, letting some light around the edges, and b) there's not enough to go completely around, just some 6-8 velcros for the corners, again leaving gaps where a bit of light goes through around it. I think some double sided sturdy tape would do a better job, if it was strong enough.Where the product really fails is that it is packaged and posted after being folded many times. These folds are impossible to then hide. So it never looks as neat as the picture, a flat black side and clean silver side on the other side. It looks like a checkered untidy mess. The product should have been rolled to avoid this problem (admittedly it would make postage a bit more expensive)For the price it might be ok, especially if it's going to be behind some other curtains. But the result doesn't look great.

Bought as my son was having trouble sleeping due to room becoming too light during summer. Works brilliantly, is used every night.

Really good blackout. Thin material but not see-through. Lightweight and the valcro stick very well. Not pretty but does the job I needed it to do. Will possibly make a blind from it eventually.

A good amount of fabric and plenty of Velcro tabs in the packet.I made a blind as in the photos on the listing however the sticky on the Velcro is so poor that the first time I took the blind down all the Velcro strips came away from the surface I'd stuck them to.Wouldn't recommend as the sticky back side of the strips isn't sticky enough, try to take blind down and everything comes down.Wasted money and then time cutting it to shape.

Keeps the light out. Good size and quality. Bought some small magnets to use instead of the Velcro strips it comes with but they look like they do the job
