Even tho I purchased the cover a few months ago I did not use it till Christmas. At first it looked great and I was very happy with what I saw. However when I actually put in on my bed it looked beautiful. Then i started to notice that every peice of lint or dust just stuck to it. It started to bother me because i have never spent so much on a duvet cover, all of my less expense duvet's do not have this issue. So I decided to wash it as per instructions. The sheet now looks older then my old duvets, the beautiful sheen that it came with is now gone ,its flat and shabby looking. So I decided to iron it. It still looks shabby and not nice like when it got here. Im very disappointed in my experience. Its a shame. It look so beautiful when it got here.😞

Photos are of the 'grape purple' 1 photo shows the normal 'warm' bedroom lighting most commonly found in bedrooms, and the other photo is natural lighting (outside)I've been using duvet covers for different white goose down comforters for over 10 years now. That being said, I've bought a lot of different ones of different quality from cheap Amazon ones to 200$ package ones at bed bath and beyond. When it comes to this brand I have ZERO complaints. I received it within 2 days of ordering (thank you prime) and the box was in good condition. I was worried about the 'grape purple' being too dark since it looks really rich and almost like a royal purple in the display photo. However I read in a separate review here that the 'dusty lilac' turned out more light 'pink'. I also saw a review of a dark charcoal color that was more of a pretty silver/gray. That being said I ordered the more solid purple color. As you can see in my photo it did indeed end up LIGHTER then the advertising studio photo.I did wash this before putting it on my bed. The material is equal to any 200$ set I've ever bought. This is indeed cotton making it breathable, but it's still very very soft and comfortable (don't worry about the word sateen). The ties on the inside were very well sewn in and sturdy (not going to fall out)Long story short- plan to receive a slightly lighter color then the photo- but do buy this! It's definitely worth it the 100$ and has a very wide array of different colors.

Love love love the color. I ordered the Ocean Teal and found the listing photos to be pretty accurate. It arrived in a high-end box, and the duvet cover was in a tote made of the same fabric. I washed it right away, and like other reviewers mentioned, it did lose some sheen, and was quite wrinkled. I took the time to iron it and it looks great. Nice, breathable fabric, and the corner ties help keep the duvet in place. The buttons are not my favorite; they seem to have some trouble staying buttoned. But overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would gladly recommend it to anyone. Just have an iron ready.

When I first received the duvet cover,I liked the Fog Blue color so much, I ordered one in Pale Blush (which I intended to gift) and another one in Fog Blue(which I just cancelled today - after seeing how the first duvet cover turned out after the wash today.Initially I noticed a few tiny shinier areas on the cover (like it was slightly brushed in oil - but ignored it because they were small. Since I generally use a flat sheet (which are laundered weekly) underneath the duvet cover, I never bothered to wash it before using it. Big mistake. Wash everything before the return expiration date!When I finally got around to putting it in the washer - I dabbed a little Woolite on the oil spot area - confident it would come out in the wash. Results: The area with the oil spot was still there, the cover has shrunken beyond belief, and the rest of the material looked dull and worn out.Don't people generally prewash cotton material being produced for sheets or duvet covers before they dye and sew them? After all, they are sheets - you need to wash them regularly, to be sanitary. Also, being duvet "covers" - does it not make sense that it should not shrink?These particular duvet covers need to be "dry cleaned" if you want to maintain its look. How costly, unsanitary and yukky is that? It's not a silk blouse, it's sheets!Another thing, these sheets do not breathe! Why purchase a premium pure down comforter for it's warmth, breathability and lightness, if the sheets retain the heat?Fortunately, I purchased a Molecule sheet set (in Blue) for the first time and liked them so much, I'm going to order their matching duvet cover. This is not a plug for them - because they are too expensive and don't offer many color options. But what they do have is quality material and their blue color is elegant. Also, when I washed them immediately upon arrival, I found they have maintained their sheen, color and quality. They are also cool to the touch, have hardly any shrinkage and feel great against my skin.

Absolutely beautiful duvet cover. I would definitely recommend and would buy again. It keeps you cool at night, but would still be warm in the winter. It comes with corner ties and buttons to get a duvet insert in. Does not come with insert. Just posting for reference because these were some questions that I personally had, is shiny and girly which I loved. True to size - I ordered in Rose Gold

I write this review as I lay underneath this insanely comfortable duvet. I understand I’m simply reviewing the cover set here, but in all honesty? I don’t think it would matter what you put in it.I was so hesitant to spend as much money as I did on this. Buyers remorse was real...until it arrived. The color is perfect and the fabric it’s made out of is heavenly.If you’re debating, stop. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

I usually NEVER leave reviews but I couldn’t in good conscious let people continue to buy this product!! IT IS EXTREMELY SCRATCHY AND NOT SOFT AT ALL LIKE ADVERTISED!! Also the colour is EXTREMELY off and AWFUL... it was supposed to be a pine green and it looks like a tacky disgusting puke colour!! (Not even in the same colour family!!) And now the company is not offering me a full refund!! SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!

Very luxurious feel, smooth and soft and not scratchy like microfiber on dry skin. Will be buying again, I just wish they had a dark forest green color.

I waited a long time to receive the product which came from India and made several stops before arriving only to find that there were no ties inside the cover as described. So disappointed. Had to send it back and ordered a Brooklinen duvet cover instead.

Really beautiful. Colour is rich, washes well, and comfortable and cool to sleep in.
