RGEEK Update Switch joystick joycon replacement for Switch,Hall effect Joysitck for Nintendo Switch/OLED/Lite

These sticks seem to be misunderstood, I’m seeing lots of reviews saying they still drift which is incorrect, these do drift when you get them but after calibration are perfectly fine, I have gotten 2 of these and they’re both perfect. However, I have seen some people say they can’t be calibrated, this means they are defective and I recommend returning and getting a new pair as you just got unlucky, things happen that are out of the sellers control. I put these in my switch lite that got drift after 2 months of using it to prevent it in the future. They’re very easy to install on joycons, not so much on switch lite as it requires a near complete tear down and an hour of time, they feel great and perform perfectly normal, they may have minor centering issues which you can fix near perfectly if you keep recalibrating which can be a bit tricky, and finally they fit perfectly. Sorry for the long paragraph with poor grammar.TL;DR these worked great for me and if they don’t for you, you got a bad pair so just return and get a new set, no harm no foul. ✌️&❤️

broke off the right joystick on my switch recently and needed to get a replacement (the repaired joyon is pictured on the right) the package comes with 2 joysticks that work on either joycon and came in a hard plastic box to prevent breakage. well, so far it works perfectly! i haven’t noticed any issues, and it also fixed the drift on my switch as far as i can tell. the installation can be a bit time consuming but it’s not too difficult, took me around 20-30 minutes. overall, much better than having to go to a repair shop and spending $50. haven’t noticed anything wrong so far and the shipping was fast. definitely recommend if you need to replace your switch joysticks!

One works perfectly. As it should. The second one feels crunchy and and sounds like it. It's like sand is inside or some other type of particle.. These are brand new and just installed. Quality control is major issue with these it seems.Update: received a new set of sticks. The issue I had on the first set does not exist on the second. I am a few hours in and they work perfectly.

edit2: calibrated my sticks as instructed and controller seems to work now. I will edit this review again if product does not work, but it seems to work good now. I think I am close to happy with this product.Edit: seller got back to me immediately and suggested that joysticks need calibrated, i don’t have time at the moment to follow instructions, but seller seems to stand behind product. Temporarily will leave this at 3 star.SOO badly did I want to like these. I love Joycons, but inevitably all my sticks drift. When my nephew came over and his thumbsticks were broken on his joycons I thought this would be a good opportunity to "upgrade my joycons" as well as fix his stick. After the first joycon replacement, I realized it is unwise to screw everything in, as these sticks drift worse than the original.-2 of the 4 sticks had terrible drift. I didn't realize the 3rd stick had bad drift until hours into a plane ride when I realized link keeps jumping off cliffs and running into walls when I put my switch down.-the sticks feel cheap, they have lower limits than the original joycons.-the caps come off, which will likely be lost.Incredibly disappointed that these highly rated sticks have such poor quality control, if I hadn't given my nephew the other stick I would totally return my second pair I bought.

Ordered some and they were unfortunately defective, both of them failing to register movement, stuck in 'go left'. Got replacements next day and both of them work wonderfully! The installation of these in very easy, just go slow and don't use metal tools on the little board!Keep in mind that eventually these will wear out as well due to the design of the joycon (honestly Nintendo should half the cost for these things), but these are much cheaper than buying new ones and solve the problem faster than shipping them off for repair with Nintendo.Edit: went ahead and made it a full 5* review because despite the first two not working I got replacements quickly and both worked fine, the replacement process was quick and easy, which can't be said of all sources for parts like these.

I purchased this brand after having trouble with replacement sticks from the well known brand that I won't name here. I've purchased more, and I haven't had a dud yet. Reliable and accurate, if you have to use switch sticks and want Hall sensors, these are a great choice. 5/5!

Replaced the stick on my left joy-con with this one—works great, can’t tell any difference (well, except that now there is no drift). Will see how this one holds up.Installation was straightforward (simply followed the iFixit guide). Had that thing that many describe when she stick cable doesn’t go into the slot nearly as deep as one would expect, so I just put it in there as much as I could, it kinda felt like it was not plugged in at all tbh, but voilà.My only complaint is that the price is a bit too high, but, fair enough, the delivery was quick and I paid for it (should have ordered from China in advance, but the drifting issue escalated unexpectedly rapidly for me).
