This is by far the biggest investment I made on my FJ cruiser. I have over 200,000 mi and I was using the original shocks and struts. I decided to replace them because it's time and I drive a lot. Off-roading. I didn't want to raise the car because I don't believe in it. I believe that the engineers, the design, the car knew what they're doing the best and I'm not here to change any specs of the car. However, he did leave the front by about an inch which looks great. They ride is absolutely amazing. I did add new springs in the back also but I don't know if it was necessary. All in all, I would like to tell you that it's a worth investment. The FJ rides like a champ. Now I'm very happy with the way it handles potholes especially and I'm very happy the way it handles off-roading I really love those shocks and struts. I did have it installed and a professional garage because I figure it's going to be an intense thing to replace the front struts and do alignment and all that. All in all I love it.

Bought for my gx470 I think they are pretty good especially for the money i used my factory springs at the top perch with no issues I would recommend getting new top hats they even say it in the manual I bought the trq set of top hats

Installed on a 270k GX470. Ride is great! Restored this old girls ride! She feels brand new. I used the second ring with stock springs. Lifted the front about an inch. Highly recommend these to anybody looking for budget lift and ride restoration out of their Toyota.
