Used this to re-secure the chain link fence after squirrels started eating the fence ties. These are very sturdy and secure and tighten very tight with little pressure. This was quicker and better than the ties. They are virtually invisible, but thick and hearty enough to hold well. I have used these for a ton of applications now and haven’t found anything they can’t do. This is a permanent application as they are difficult/impossible to cut without the tool and the tool requires slack cut. Overall a great value for the money!

Very good at securing fencing and other items such as poles together. Very strong and is more survival in over 100 degree heat than basic zip ties. Very good device.

I am building a chain link by myself. I have never built one before, and it's one heck of a job! I was going to use nylon zip ties to help me assemble the fence a step at a time. But the zip ties don't get tight enough to do some of the things I need them to do. So I did a search. Several people said good things about stainless steel straps. I never used them so I thought I'd try them. I bought this tool and it has been a life changer! That's an exaggeration, of course, but I strongly recommend that if you use a lot of zip ties, get one of these. Methinks you'll be as glad you did as I am.

I live in the Phoenix Arizona area and the summer sun and heat destroy the regular plastic zip ties within about a month or so. I saw the metal zip ties and thought the sun won't destroy these and so far they have been great. I'm currently using them to hold up a metal fence for our turtle pen and they are working great, still nice and tight and no rust. With the tie gun being so easy to use you can get each zip tie nice and tight with no slipping. I would highly recommend this tool and zip ties.
