These lights add a mid-century modern feel to our remodel. We love the shadows they cast and the brightness.Thumbs up and five stars!

Although I measured it before purchasing, I was still surprised at how large they are. They are nice and go great against my new paint color. I installed 60W soft white bulbs and because each light takes two bulbs I believe that helps to make the room even brighter. Installation was simple (I did not receive gloves with mine) except when it comes to attaching the lights to the base. Because of the design it can be a bit challenging getting the washer and screw into the hole. The screws, those screws, are magnetic. I know it wasn't just me because I installed one and had my son do the other and he because frustrated when it came to that part too and for the same reason.

The theme in my house is gold spikes and these added the flare that I needed. They are very easy to install. Make sure to get bulbs as they did not come with the item.

So, when these mid-century / modernist / a bit Deco lamps are assembled, they look okay and are large and create an impression.There's a reasonable amount of assembly to be done, and the issues start when the unmarked box they arrive in is opened. So much single use plastic. So, so much. The lamps arrive in multiple pieces. All wrapped in foam, and then loads of plastic wrap and then some plastic bags. It's all in the box loose. In a jumble. With an instruction sheet and gloves to protect from fingerprints during assembly.Presumably either in transit or during being wedged into the box, a lot of prongs on the lamps had been bent. I gingerly bent them all back into shape, not being 100% confident in the welds holding if I did too much bending. There were some scratches to both canopies too.Each starburst section needs to be attached to the lamp socket section, which is then attached to the canopy...and onwards to the supplied mounting plate. All hardware is included (screws and washers / rawl plugs and electrical box screws). Assembly isn't too tedious, and 15 mins should see you done.When assembled they look fine, and command a space - able to be mounted horizontally or vertically when fitted with E12 bulbs (not included). The wires are standard US colours, and also marked as 'neutral' and 'live', and the earth is included loose with the mounting plate. The canopy mounts / attaches to the plate with screws at the sides.I haven't mounted these yet as they're for a future bathroom renovation, so can't comment on how flush to the wall they install, but I did run a continuity tester over them and they appear to be functioning lamps.For the price point these seem fine, and are attractive, but a star knocked off for all that plastic waste, some scratches and bent prongs.

I love these wall lights, they are so fun and have a retro vibe. They were very well packed so none of the pieces got scrapped or chipped and the directions were easy to follow (but you'll hardly need them if you've ever installed a wall light before). A couple of the metal rods were slightly off angle and with very, very gentle pressure I was able to get them back in alignment but be careful if you attempt this since too much force could snap them off. All the parts (except bulbs) are included and are easy to attach to standard junction boxes so installation was pretty quick. They even included a pair of white cotton gloves to minimize fingerprints on the fixtures during installation which was a nice bonus. The finish on these is really nice, not a cheap paint like some other fixtures, so these look very elegant and high quality. I really love how they look and they fit in well with other Mid Century inspired lights in my home so if you're going for that vintage vibe these are a great choice.

I haven't decided if I plan to use these in the entryway or half bath. The gold is kind of an antique gold, but I think that makes it more flexible for neutral rooms

I wanted some sconces that were different and could fit well with the vibe I have going on throughout my house. These were perfect and the color matched with the existing fixtures that I had already. Installation was super easy and everything is included, as well as some white gloves to keep you from getting fingerprints/scratches on the sconces. Definitely gives a modern look to any room that you install these in.

I’m so tired of the crap fixtures the previous owners of our original ‘62 mid-century house had installed, I was over-anxious to get new ones that actually suited the joint. Well, I did. But I wasn’t prepared for these beautiful, stunning beasts.The description does not lie when stating these are big. So, keep that in mind. They’re about half the size of our current ones. I’m hoping they won’t look silly.On each of the pieces a few of the spokes came crooked, but can be fixed by very carefully pressing over. I think this is due to the heavy parcel of hardware that’s packaged in sitting on top. Otherwise they’re packaged quite well.I may now needs to somehow paint them black to match our new sink fixtures, if the husband even allows me to put these stunning guys in.Will certainly update with photos when they are installed! Because darn right they will be:).
