After the 3rd time of using this camera , it had failed. I have literally taken no more than a dozen pics and one short video. It first reads “ no card”. But there is a card. In removing the card you can see the connections are worn, probably from water contact. Which means this product IS NOT waterproof. Now the screen has lines all through it and the battery has to be removed to shut it down. This is junk!!’

We recently went on vacation to Hawaii and wanted a waterproof camera that we could use on Waikiki beach and underwater. Well, this little gem of a camera worked great! It’s very easy to use, lightweight, and the pictures came out great. We also loved the digital zoom for those close-in shots. We can’t believe this cost of this camera was so low. What an amazing value! Although we didn’t use this capability, the camera also takes short video’s as well. The camera comes with a wrist strap so you can hold onto it securely as you are playing in the ocean waves. It’s also nice that the camera comes with 2 batteries so that you can quickly change out batteries if you are getting low on power. It’s a great little camera and you won’t be disappointed!

So just got back from a trip to mountains and my 7 yr old used the camera more than I did but overall seemed pretty good. Only 2 concerns... 1 is the slow shutter reaction and having to press the button firmly to take the picture. I'm pretty sure she missed a few good pics. 2nd is the battery life might not be good but not sure as I think she may have left it on over night.I haven't downloaded the pics yet so once I do that and use it a bit more I will update. We have an upcoming trip to beach so will test the underwater part of it.

I read the bad reviews, but then the price was only $39 so I figured what the hey. The reviews were right. The camera takes FOREVER to focus. It fogs up almost immediately on hitting water. The batteries don't last very long (and are custom so you can't buy more). I took it on vacation in Costa Rica. I'd say it is passable as a cheap waterproof camera as backup to a phone or better camera. I would never pay more than $39 for this camera.

18+ months ago we got this for our teenager to take to a 10 day overnight summer camp (in an area with weak, unreliable cell signal. These pictures turned out well and are in line with what you’d expect from the description. I’d recommend it for a tween or a teenager.
