A Concise Handbook of Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences

This book is must have for an ME, EE or Physics major. This is really the kind of book you should own starting in the 7th grade. Once you complete your doctoral dissertation, then you put is on the shelf, wait for your first born to come of age, and pass it on. I remember my first engineering class, struggling to understand the principles behind denominational homogeneity. This is a hard topic to find any useful information on and there it is, right on page 656 laid out clear as day. From what I have found from skimming through the book, it has every fundamental theorem laid right out for you. It's not like a text book where you have example problem to work through, it just the meat and potatoes of every piece of scientific academic curriculum you have been learning and will learn as a scientist. I feel like in most of my college text you have to sift through a lot of garbage before they actually get to the point. For instance, you spend 8 chapters in your calculus book doing infinite series. When you get to the end and you have finally figured out what they were talking about you think to yourself "I can't believe we spent 4 weeks on that". In this book, you can cover infinite series in an afternoon. It puts linear algebra in about a 9 page nutshell. It covers all math topics from arithmetic to differential equation. There is also excellent reference material for all of your ME core studies such as static, dynamics, thermo, MoM, plus EE core material. What a wonderful reference book. Kudos to the editors. Nice work.

Bought this from Bright Sky Books through Amazon. Book excellent, condition of it: absolutely appalling. The book's dirty, scratched, crushed and has cut marks on the back. Inside, it's good.Be aware, quality not up to scratch. I now know why the price was so cheap! NOT IMPRESSED!!5 stars for book,2 stars for quality
