Went through nearly 200 of them in a week. My organization was running a concession stand for an event and we served salads. These work great for an entree size salad. We were able to make the salads in the morning, then stack them in the fridge until lunch. All of our customers loved the convenience!

Tops won’t stay on. Chose this brand over one that I normally buy. Unfortunately, though they look the same, the quality was definitely different.

Just got these clear plastic bowls to use mostly for my leftovers and togo lunch salad bowls. No plastic or funny odor by the way, very clear and clean. These are not meant to be leak-proof but spill proof and they should work well with salad dressings for example. I added a little water just to test after closing the cap tightly and turned the bowl upside down, there were a couple of water drops leaked out, but it was expected, I was just being curious to see :). I mean the lids do close very tight and will not pop out when closed correctly. It's not that hard to close, just match the curves or petals between the bowl and lid, then snap them in and they should be good togo. These 50 bowls will go fast, so I probably will try to wash or rewash some of them a few times for reuse before throwing them out. They seem very durable and sturdy, no problem holding heavier food or leftovers. Personally, I think they should be ok to hold not too hot or warm food but it's safer to let the food cool down just a little to prevent scalding. Very pleased with them and no issues using these 50 bowls at all. Great for party or an event also.

I bought these specifically for salads for work, school and on the go. They are perfect for that very thing. They are a great size and the lids fit great. The reason for the 4 stars is for the price point. it is cheaper to buy these and take a salad from home rather than buy one but still can be a little costly with several people in the house using them. It is much better than having to bring something home at the end of the day and clean it though.

These are salad bowls they are of good quality and good value they are very light weight but sturdy and durable and easy to use. I got this product to use for storing food in the refrigerator after meals you can not put these bowls in the microwave and I don't recommend putting them in a dishwasher.
