Your axolotl will thank you!
These are a great purchase if you have an axolotl! They provide additional nutrition which is great for a worm-based diet animal. We were recommended these (and Grub Pie) by a top rated aquatic vet, to add on to my Axolotl’s diet since he was suffering from Red Foot Disease and consistent fungal infections.I was worried because some reviews mention that their axolotl’s did not eat them, but there is a trick to getting my guy to eat them.(The pellets are hard and irregularly shaped compared to worms so letting them soak in water for a couple minutes first helps a lot! Sometimes he’ll spit them back out, but we just try again with the same pellet and he’ll eat them the second time)

They’re alright.
My axolotl is 3 years old and these seem to be too big for him. I’m not sure what the issue is but I struggle to get him to eat these but he ate the small ones fine. These are much easier to pick up with tweezers though, which I like. I always have issues with the food getting hard so I put them in an airtight container.

Good for a axolotls
They the only pellets my axolotl actually enjoys besides worms. You do have to keep them in air tight container to keep them fresh my son left one bag open and they got extremely hard. We had to get another bag.

Worm replacements
Our axolotl started refusing worms, this has been the replacement for well over a year. She will catch them if dropped above her but she is also able to find them, by smell I'm guessing, if they are just placed in tank. Size varies but the largest ones make feeding easier.
