We bought this for our new above ground metal wall pool. It has a very strong magnet that attaches it very securely to the inside wall of the pool right through the liner. I love the remote that lets you easily change through several colors and patterns. It is also great because we always get out of the pool and forget to turn off the pool light. Ours it at a spot in the pool where we can not get to the wall where the light is hung from the outside of the pool, there is a structure in the way. With this remote it is easy to turn off the light after we have left the pool or to turn it on just for color in the back yard when we are not using the pool but sitting out on the deck. I have used the light 5 or 6 times now for a few hours each time and I have not had to recharge the light yet! Great deal for the price I think. The light is also very solid and quality material, it does not feel plastic, it is quite heavy for its size.

I bought mine last year in August 2023 only got to use it twice before having to close pool for the season. Well i got it back out last month (may 2024) plugged it up to charge it and it doesnt work it flashes on then right back off and the back where the battery is at gets so hot i cant touch it . It remained it's in box it originally came in all winter in my closet inside the house until I got it out again so there is no reason at all that this light shouldn't still be working 9 months later. I will say the two times I did get to use it it worked great but very disappointed that I paid this much for a light and only got to use twice. Not worth the money at all.

Added this to our pool hoping for a nice night time ambient look but although it’s a nice setup, the functionality just doesn’t work. If the light is under the water even by less than a foot the wireless signal doesn’t work. The battery life was around 4 hours on full charge.Need to start looking for other options.Update:The company contacted me and advised that I may have a faulty unit and sent me a replacement within days of this review. Tried it and was pleasantly surprised. It does look like the unit was indeed faulty as the new one has a much better signal reach. So will change my score due to excellent customer service and the new unit being exactly what I hoped for.

Not near as bright as i expected. Ordering and delivery was a breeze. Battery life a whopping 6-8 hours and disappointing. Pulled them back out of water and not sure to toss in trash or save/recharge for a random night swim.

We have an inground pool and our light broke. Instead of paying $800 I bought two of these. They are OK and did the job But definitely not as bright as advertised. Our pool is a play pool so it’s not super deep and it did the job. We wanted lights so when the grandchildren were swimming, we could see to the bottom. It definitely wasn’t as bright as an inground pool light though. Even with two lights. I think that if I had two more, it would’ve been perfect. They work underwater and the kids had fun playing with them so four stars

Not nearly as bright as advertised but we knew it wouldn’t be. The real complaint is that the remote doesn’t reach the light when the light is 3’ under water. No chance at all when submersed in the deep end at 5’.

I’ve tried a lot of underwater lights because out pool light is old and doesn’t change color. This light is absolutely awesome! It is bright enough to light up my pool which is huge - the picture doesn’t do it justice. I didn’t expect much from it and thought I’d have to buy 2 to get enough light to make a difference. But one was absolutely perfect. I love that it has a timer too so I can just put it in and not worry about remembering to turn it off. Highly recommend!
