It’s thin and fits in the brackets of todays welding shields. I prefer the glass magnifying lens They don’t seem to fit in modern hoods though. So I am forced to use these cheap scratch easily plastic polymer throw aways. That’s exactly what it is too. They should sell 5 for the price of the 2 that comes in the package Thank you

It does help me see when welding but I am getting a lot of dust behind the lens so I have to take it out and wipe it off frequently. I was using reading glasses under my welding helmet and now I don't have to do that. Glad I bought them.

I see a lot of people saying this cheater doesn’t fit the Yeswelder . It does turn the lense 90 degrees. It should be split up and down. Shouldn’t be split left and and right . So tech. It would be a lense for each eye . Hope this helps . It does fit the 800H

They slip into the face place well. There's a gap that allows water vapor to get between the the lens and hood and fog up both so can't see unless/ until the lens is removed and everything cleaned.

These are great if you need to use reading glasses. I can actually see the weld when I am welding.
