Affordable solution
Worked well in my 2012 Corolla. Be warned, on this car the retaining ring was quite hard to remove, even w the proper tool (get the round tool that grabs the entire ring) and big breaker bar. It finally did come off and the rest of the job went easy enough. Make sure you pop in the fuel sender which ships loose.

So far, so good.
It fit exactly as the factory original. Fit into the fuel tank as it should. The electrical connection was a perfect fit. Both fuel hoses fit as they should. Easy install with the right tools. Will it last? Only time will tell… If it gives out, I will update this review, but it looks great so far.

Advice for Installing
Now installed, I’m assuming it’ll work just fine.Advice for installing:1. This does not come with a new fuel pump gasket. You’ll need to buy that separately (for me, it popped up as a “frequently bought with” item when I selected this fuel pump. I believe some Fuel pumped come with a new gasket. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074T7RLLT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details2. This does not come with new lock clips for the two hoses of the car that connect to the pump's top. I believe some fuel pumps have new lock clips included. This isn’t a problem, as you can just use the old clips from the fuel pump you’re taking out.3. This fuel pump is designed slightly differently than the original fuel pump, namely, the original pump has a yellow lock clip that locks in the narrower hose (closer to the driver) whose closed end (the clip is like a horseshoe) goes toward the trunk and whose open end goes toward the driver. This fuel pump is designed so that the lock clip must have its closed end on the driver’s side, and the open end toward the trunk. Note: all installation was easy on unit, except that I spent 30 minutes trying to get the yellow lock clip onto the new pump in the same orientation as the original (closed end toward the trunk), and it just wouldn’t slide around the hose end to lock. When I tried the clip in the other direction (open end toward the trunk, it worked, though it didn’t lock down as tightly as the clip had on the original pump).4. My new pump came with the float assembly dangling freely, not attached to the pump, except for the wires. In about 10 minutes, I figured out how to attach the assembly to the pump, in this way: a) fit the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) up against the pump so that it lies flat against the pumps outer surface (study the surface of the pump’s wall and the back/inside surface of the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) to see how these two pieces will fit together; this puts the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) slightly too high (but where you want it, for now); b) slide the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) downward, but don’t force it downward until you’ve moved its catch tab leftward to get around the catch tab that’s part of the pump’s outer wall. Once the tab of the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) is pushed inward (to the left, as you look at it), the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) can move downward and lock onto the unit. Once the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) is pushed down, its tab will be prevented from rising upward by the catch tab lock that’s a part of the pump’s outer wall. *Not sure if all units come with the plastic unit with the wires (from which the float dangles below) unattached, but mine did.
