I've purchased many hoses over the years as a small farmer. This is by far the best ever. I love that it is lightweight yet tough, but my favorite feature is, it doesn't get all stiff in cold weather. My other hoses that I have had, become useless once cold weather hits because they become stiff...not this hose, I can kink it to stop water flow, move it about easily to water my cows and chickens, drain it and it's ready to go the next watering no matter how cold it gets.

This hose seems sturdy! We screwed it in and turned on the water and there were absolutely no leaks! Great so far!

My front yard is landscaped with a variety of different plants but no irrigation, so I need close to 100 feet of hose to water them each week. I've always used heavy duty rubber or rubber-like hoses but found them to be a challenge to lug around and in time they tend to drip at the hose bib connection. When my last one started to drip, I thought I'd try something I'd never heard of, a hybrid hose. After some research I decided on Giraffe for quality and value. In short, it's been great! Much lighter, easier to maneuver, and so far, very durable. Watering so much easier.

It looks like the pic but the ends are not orange.......they are brownish. This is a good, thick brand, built to last. I am in Colorado so I won't be using it until 'outside' wakes up.........I am sure the sun will straighten it out. I don't know why they ask you to rate 'light weight'. I didn't want to buy a flimsy leader hose.........I wanted a thick, strong one......so for the length, even though it is short, I don't consider this to be 'light weight'.

I have spent a fortune on hoses and they have all been a big disappointment. They are usually heavy, kink terribly in spite of there so called no kink write up and are usually only good for one year if you are lucky. I haven't had this hose long but am already impressed with it being light weight, flexible and so far kink free. I have high hopes it will live up to its advertising about tolerating heat and cold and still remaining flexible etc. So far it is so much bette than any I have purchased in the past and I am thinking of ordering another in a longe size. I really like the way each end of the hose is constructed making hooking it up so much easier.

I needed a short hose to fill buckets with water. The both ends are made of sturdy brass and work fine. The hose is flexible and resists kinking. Very happy with this purchase.

Requires rubber band to keep thread-grips in place; requires special quick connect/disconnects due to poor design of threaded end of hose!
