This is the right size for my cooking habits and is holding up really well despite constant exposure to wet coffee grounds and sometimes drippy eggshells so they used good quality paint. I originally wanted something much smaller so it wouldn't clutter my counter but this is really the rt size since it's not actually convenient to dump it outside in bad weather. And it's cute in a color I've always loved. Definitely recommend

Cute little bugger. Lives in my counter and collects all my scraps without stinking... then I take my scraps to the compost bin outside when this little fella gets full.

Works for what I needed and keeps the smell in! I've already dropped it and the lid stayed on, it held up great. It's perfect for taking kitchen scraps to the chickens too!

This is a nice-looking compost pail. The big issue is the lid. It fits very tightly and is not easy to remove, especially if you only have one hand available (the other being full of whatever you want to throw in).
