Great Size
This is my second food processor ever. I have a very small kitchen and needed a smaller processor but not to small. I really do not have the space for a full size food processor. I use this one everyday to grind meats and veggies for my dogs, turtles and tortoises It works great. To me there isn't much difference between chop and grind. It comes out looking about the same. I would prefer a processor with more functions but I do not see that with smaller models. This processor has made my life much simpliar. It is a real time saver.

Great little food processor
Great little food processor. I had one when I was living in Europe for a while and couldn't bring it back to the States due the voltage differences. It's very handy and nice for tasks where I don't need my large food processor (which is heavy and less convenient to setup). I generally don't do liquid stuff in this one, so can't rate how well the lid seals. But for chopping garlic, ginger, and other tasks, it's very handy and works well.

The cutting blades are too low to chop anything
The blade has two prongs . One prong is on the bottom- 1/16 of an inch from bottom. Second prong is 5/8 inch up from the bottom. Basically anything in the bowl/processor above the height of one inch doesn't get chopped because it is above the blades. If hold the chop button long enough to move the food above one inch down to the blade than the food at the bottom turns to liquid. I believe the blade being at the bottom is a design flaw. Junk. Waste of money.

Works great
3rd one I've had. The housing around blade cracks if you put too much or too hard a food in- like raw carrots.better to fill half way, short bursts. You can buy a whole new machine for not much more than cost of replacement blade...

Cuisinart mini chopper
I love love this machine. It fits more than what I thought it would. I'm able to prep veggies, fruit and fresh herbs in literally a couple of minutes. It's very powerful.

A great product. Indispensable.
This is a wonderful tool and I use it regularly. The 4 cup capacity is much better (for me) than a 3 cup model. The extra capacity is perfectly handy for things like hummus based on a 15 ounce can of chick peas, or enough falafel based on uncooked but soaked chickepeas for two people. The 3 cup Cuisinart model, which I also have experience with, is too small for my uses. This particular model is durable and reliable and easy to clean. We have had two four cup models and the first one lasted several years-- at least ten years-- before a crack in the plastic that holds the blade developed. We have given these as gifts. Great for pestos including things like chimichurri. Also great for pureeing many things, including tomatoes. I also use it to make ginger garlic paste, as used for many Indian style dishes. This is a real "work horse" appliance.

A convenient and reliable kitchen machine
This kitchen machine works really well. I use it to grind up kitchen scraps to put into the compost. That way they break down much faster and compost forms much sooner. Grinding and chopping them up can be done without adding water. Before I would sometimes throw the scraps away because I did not have time to prepare them for the compost pile using our blender. I have also used this machine to grind up acorns after shelling them and softening them in water, in preparation for rinsing them repeatedly to make them edible. I had some trouble getting the machine to come on the first time because the top part and the handle have to be locked in place exactly right for that to happen.
