Best customer service you will EVER encounter!!!
So first off I just want to say that the bike is very well made, sturdy and faster then you might expect from a electric bike at it's price. It Is so fun to ride that I have even forgone buying a car as that has been my main mode of transportation. Side note: I live near the beach so it's hard to not want to always ride.I had originally bought a regular pedal assist only bicycle from Walmart and quickly discovered that It was not meant for me especially when it was not much less expensive then the Paselec G9.Back before Thanksgiving I had contacted Amazon about the battery not as strong as it could be. Amazon informed me that they did not carry the battery and that they could just replace the entire bike. It wasn't my first choice but I figured it was better than nothing and it would be a fresh brand new bike and battery so it was a win-win.I had a few weeks to get the old bike back to Amazon but when I got the new bike the tires were a little different and Amazon agreed that I could take the tires from my old bike and put it on the replacement bike during this time unfortunately both bikes got stolen. I was able to recoup one bike however it was not in very good shape whatsover and they just made a mess of it. If it was not for this company AND Amazons help I would have been out OVER almost $3,000 for the cost of the original bike and the replacement bike because Amazon had charged me for not returning the first bike in the agreed upon time frame. One evening I decided it was worth a shot just to ask Amazon if there was anything they could do about the first bike even though they had all right to charge for not sending the original one back. at the same time assuming Amazon would not probably do much understandably; I emailed the Paselec company and explained the same situation and not only did Amazon refund the entire charge for the first bike that was stolen, the paselec company has been almost like a second family from thousands of miles away. They have sent me every part, wire, motor you name it pretty much anything that I have needed or they insist to get this bike back up and working. and let me tell you I have been working on this bike now since December and I have received nothing but understanding, empathy and pretty much any parts that I have needed without me having to spend any extra money and simply explaining what issue I am dealing with at each step. Amazon nor paselec was under any obligation to do anything but take my money and keep going and it even states on there information that they are only responsible for damages caused by shipping and even then it sounded like you would have to jump through hurdles. I say all this because I really want that company and whoever the person or persons I've been corresponding with for almost 4 going on 5 months now to know how deeply, deeply grateful I and my family are at their willingness and utter detDesire for me to get this thing back up and running. They have pretty much sent me essentially a whole other bike at the end of the day with as many parts and pieces that again they were not under any obligation or expectation to provide. Now onto the bike review... It is one of the most exhilarating bike rides I've ever taken, riding this thing on the beach was so much fun that I have accidentally without realizing it rode about 20 miles or more down the coast before realizing I just biked over 20 miles. Smooth ride, the battery while it's not your top notch will not last you for 100 miles pure throttle but this battery will last at least 40 50 miles maybe a little more even at full throttle barely any pedaling. Essentially if you are looking for a well-made bike that's not Bank breaking and a company that you know you can feel good about knowing, barring some circumstances, I'm sure that they will have your back and they will stand behind their product. If there is anyone else who has had a different experience with this company I don't know what y'all did wrong to them, but I can tell you any review that says the customer service is horrible then they are just being a super Karen and was probably just trying to pull a fast one on the company. So long story long... Go with this company and this company will go with you. Thank you Paselec for everything you have done and are still doing to this day to help me get my bike up and running as it is my only mode of transportation currently and I can't wait to get this thing fully back up to speed. If you have any questions feel free to contact myself or hell even the company. They are very responsive. Hope this helps someone out

Pretty good for a first time electric bike.
I was a bit worried about getting an electric bike, I had tried electric bikes and scooters many years ago and they were usually very underpowered. This one though has no problem with picking up speed. Even on very steep hills it may slow down but it can keep going. A few small complaints I have are with the instructions, the display, and some of the parts quality when it arrived. First, the instructions consistent of a long line of text or a quick 60 second or so video online. You also need to know the model of the bike to find the right video, as I couldn't find the link on the store page. The instructions skip over the proper way to install the handlebars, as they were detached when it arrived. This is important as it's very easy to put it on wrong and possibly damage the electrical and brake wires around it. Also the instructions didn't mention anything about the front wheel brake and troubleshooting it. I'm not used to the brake being at the wheel hub instead of on the rim of the wheel. It was a bit too tight and I had to loosen the brake pad so the wheel could spin freely. Unfortunately, and this is my complaint for the parts quality, someone at the factory had stripped the hex head screw when installing the brake caliper. Fortunately I could loosen the other side and it worked, but if I ever need to repair the brakes I'll probably have to replace the entire caliper on the front now. Finally the display is a little... inconsistent when going up any kind of slope. The battery gauge will quickly go down when the motor is consistently used going up a hill. This can be a bit shocking at first, and then confusing when it jumps back up to full when going down hill. So I can't rely on the gauge to really give me an accurate battery rating, I just have to guess at how full or empty it is while riding.Other than those issues the bike rides well and pretty smooth. Seat isn't too bad, brakes are a little weak to slow you down but you could probably fix that, just don't come up to a stop too fast on it. The Assisted pedaling is also a little confusing. Essentially from what I could figure out the five levels indicate a minimum speed the bike will try to maintain, whether you are pedaling or not. This was a little bit of a surprise when I was trying to stop on PAS 1 but the bike suddenly started accelerating on its own. Higher numbers on the Assist level seem to mean the bike maintains a higher speed, with level 3 seeming to be about 15-17 mph.I got this to replace needing a car for transportation, and it definitely works.

Well built bike, not to heavy, a great buy
Power switch is in a poor position(can't see if it's on or off since its on the bottom of the down tube) but that's a minor inconvenience, once you know how it's aligned. Not too heavy, only a little bit heaver than my 29er when you remove the battery. Changed the handle bars for a wider set, an adjustable stem, and RockBros pedals. Seat is ok, but that will go when I find a better one. For a low end e MTB it is well built. Not sure about off roading with it, I'm setting it up for commuting. Will change the derailleur and shifter at a later date. I highly recommend for first ebike (my 2nd) that is more like a conventional bike. for the money would have given 5 stars, but I'll need to ride it awhile before I go that far. Took it on a 20 mile ride today no real problems other than the failure of the front brake, which locked up part way (glad it didn't lock completely) The brakes are cheap, which is no surprise at this price. I've ordered after market replacements and I'm not bothering the company about this. Overall This is still a great buy for the money, well made, but you have to save money somewhere or charge more. Still happy, If you don't know your way around a bike, have it set up by a bike shop. If you do, you know what needs tightened and what needs up graded. Update, I love the bike, lots of power, changed the brakes and the seat, the shifter and the derailleur work fine (so no change). Great buy for the price, very happy
