Lid comes off instead of cutting pills
The lid comes off at the hinge when pressing down to cut the pill. It's happened so many times the pieces holding in the lid are worn out and I've only had it a couple of weeks. Would not recommend.

Be Careful!
This pill splitter looks great, but it can be difficult to open (maybe it's just my old lady hands). The bigger issue is that your fingers can easily come in contact with the razor blade. I've had a couple of close calls. It does a great job splitting the pills but otherwise not recommended.

it’s cheap made
This only lasted about a month that I’m having to order another one. I’ll order a different brand this time because this one did not last.

I was very disappointed with this item. It did cut the tablets, but was very difficult to open to retrieve the cut tablets.

Hard to keep the pill in place to cut it.

not good for hard long pills
Doesn't cut large hard pills in half. (why they are prescribed that way - take only half??) I got slivers, 3/4 cuts and some half - but not enough to get a good rating.

This pull cutter is fabulous. Didn’t come with any instructions but a quick check of the Amazon page showed me how to use it. Cuts pills brilliantly. I love it
