Healthy fish
This is a must have any time my fish have cuts or scrapes. It has saved my fish a few times. I highly suggest PRIMAFIX by API with this product at the same time

Used as Insurance
I use this in two areas, on new arrivals that have to be quarantined OR I did try it on a relocated juvenile Plecostomus that had his fins bitten by my Snow White Parrot cichlids. Only used it for a few days, plecos fins have shown signs of healing with no infection noted.

Saved my two betas
After introducing a new plant to two separate aquariums, one beta fish developed fin disease and the other started to bloat and stopped eating for 5 days. Fortunately, after I used this, both fish recovered and the plants were okay as well. Added bonus is that the water smells really good now.

Works well, doesn't kill plants
This medication works really well and you need to follow the instructions. It's great that it didn't kill my aquatic plants!! It does seem to take a little longer to work with my Cory Cats but this does the job it is advertised to do and has been a life saver for probably 15 years now!

Reliable and Effective
I’ve been using API Melafix for years and it’s one of the few products I always keep on hand. It works great in my aquarium and helps keep my fish healthy and happy. Anytime I notice minor issues or stress, a dose of Melafix usually does the trick.

It worked!!! Happy healthy fish again!
My goldfish had fin rot, so I got this product to see if it would help with that. I used it just as it instructed and within a few days the fin rot got way better! Now he is a happy and healthy fish again! This is an essential for fish first aid! Great size and good value. Easy to use too.
