It looks amazing but sheds

The rug is very pretty but sheds constantly. We have done everything but it doesn’t stop shedding.

If you're looking for a nice rug at a reasonable price, this is the one. It's nice and soft but I will say it does shed a lot, however, that's to be expected. Overall, I really like the rug and definitely recommend.

I wish I took a photo before I returned the item. I wanted to like this rug, but unfortunately the color was more of yellow toned “cream”. Not as pictured. Quality was great and it was super cute, the color was just off.

This is a nice wool rug at an affordable price. It is a lovely oatmeal creme color rather than bright white. It works well in a boho style room or a room looking to add more neutral colors to the floor. It is well made, easy to vacuum and stays in place well.

You walk on it and slip. It doesn’t have something underneath to prevent to slip.No safe.

Initially, there was a strong chemical smell from the rug when I unrolled it. Sort of like the sharp tang of disinfectant you smell at a professional dry-cleaning business. After letting the rug air out for about 30 minutes, it dissipated.The rug has a bit of a rough texture on the top, but this gets smoothed over quickly as you walk over it.For its size, it's fairly lightweight too. A little bit more than a heavy quilt, really. I had an easy time unfolding it and adding it to the floor of our guest room.The pattern is uniform and engaging without looking garish and the color ( a sort of muted beige), is mellow enough to harmonize with most modern decor.A little nota bene: because this is a natural handwoven product, there is no rubber backing on the underside of this rug. So be sure to use some additional rug grippers underneath here if you are using this rug on hard surface flooring.5 stars.

This came in a large box (good sign), folded well, and wrapped in a thick, plastic sleeve. It has a great weight to it. I don't think I will have any problems keeping it flat to the floor once the folds settle out. It definitely looks handwoven with all the telltale characters signatures. It's not soft like I would expect but it is mostly wool so should expect a bit more roughness than all cotton. I have quite a bit of cream, ivory, and white in my home and this blends very well. I included a pic of the rug color with a sheet of white copy paper for comparison. I will probably get a rug underlay mat to keep it in place but I don't think it's going to slip around much without one because of it's weight. It's reversable but the back side does like slightly different from the front. There wasn't any overwhelming unpleasant odor. It smells like natural fiber but not bad.
