These lights are adorable and really helped create the festive Lunar New Year feel I wanted for my office.

I mixed them in with my Christmas lights. They're so pretty and deserve more reviews :)

All my other battery-operated strings, you can turn off and on by remote-not this one. I’m disabled in a wheelchair and prefer things I can either operate through Alexa OR remote. That’s OK, @Kitty_Leela is enjoying “her” new lights on our over-bed table. They aren’t very bright and don’t get hot-so I don’t have an issue leaving them on. I guess I’d better get some more re-chargeable batteries..I had planned on using these with my “新年” (New Year) Couplets and decorations around my front door. Instead, I’ll use one of my plain white strings with a remote-and I noticed a few stores with little 3in plain red lanterns. My step-daughter is coming over to learn how to do some couplets and I’m sure we can figure out a way to put the lanterns on, perhaps put tassels on them too. One of my Chinese friends sent me a string just like that-but they seem to be caught up in customs...as usual these days. For anyone who reads this and might be interested-there’s also some DIY instruction videos on YouTube to make your own small lanterns-mainly using hongbao envelopes-(you can get them anywhere Chinese New Year decor is sold)-OR just use red paper cut the size of a legal envelopes.

These lights are very pretty and look very festive. The only problem is the battery case is very shabby. The material is very thin and is very easy to crack. It cracked when I was trying to close the case after putting the batteries in.

They mean it when they say fairy lights.

The look more like halloween pumpkins than red lanterns, but they work.

Smaller than the pictures shown, it’s ok for the price
