I really am pleased with this product. Despite reviews I read before purchasing, the suction cups work great. I stuck this light to the bottom side of my 29 gallon tank lid one time and it's still there several weeks later with no signs of slippage. I bought this to increase the lumens when added to the OEM light for my planted tank and it was just what the doctor ordered. The additional features of having a timer, or switching to blue light which apparently has a blacklight effect which I suspect would be cool with glo fish and the dimmer function, were all an awesome bonus. The light is indeed submersible which is also cool because my lid is close to the water and wheny tank is completely full, the light does come below the waterline slightly. It was a terrific value at a fairly reasonable price and the product appears to be wellade and well designed. I highly recommend it. It does not put out quite as much light as the OEM tank lid light but I bought it merely to increase my lumens because my tank is 23" tall and I wanted to make sure the smaller plants at the bottom were receiving enough light. The original light which is myain light is plenty bright but perhaps loses intensity towards the bottom of the tank. This additional light certainly solves that problem. It stuck right on and no instructions were needed to figure out the other features because it's so easy to navigate the switch. The cord is a generous length as well. This is a great design, the product is well made and the features it offers are definitely a bonus!

The media could not be loaded. I found this tank a couple years ago and haven’t been able to part with it. I’ve had to buy replacements for it along the way and since I’ve had such a great experience with DaToo in the past I decided to go with it again and I’m not disappointed! I was a little nerved up at first about the timer on it bc I already have a timer that’s for my lights and air pump so I was happy to see you can choose if you want to use the included timer or not! Love that it’s dimmable, for this small of a tank I really needed something with this capability. Very easy to install, works great, excellent value.

Perfect! I have a FluvalFlex 9L tank. The light always goes out after like a year because water gets into it. I suction cupped this to the lid and it looks perfect! Suction cups work great, cord is long enough and it has the blue light setting as well as the usual LED, which I need both.I had been repurchasing the Fluval Flex bulbs and they're like $60. Nope! This works just perfectly, if it ever stops working I'm going to buy another lol. I recommend! I just got the small one.

I have this in 150 gallon tank and it doesn’t seem to be very bright. It does have a lot of different settings and some different colors, but not exactly what I was hoping for.

Not sure what's going on, but I bought a light without a dimmer and I hated it. it was so bright i could light up a football stadium. So I reviewed it and returned it.Then I got one with a dimmer and a timer. I love it and it wasnt very much more in cost. So I go to review it and the same review as the one I dont like comes up...So these reviews might not be for the particular item you purchased. I love the one with the dimmer and the timer. I hope it lasts more than a couple weeks. We shall see.
