Gyration Rechargeable Battery Pack for The Air Mouse Go Plus GYAM1100BP-BLK

My old battery died after about 4 years. As it degraded (pretty quickly during its last year), I had to keep staying closer and closer to the transmitter plugged into the computer for it to work. This new battery allows me to walk all over the room while using it. Being a teacher, that's a good thing. I use it for several hours each day.

Works fine. Only giving it four stars because they changed the color...older Gyration equipment was a purplish color. This new black battery just doesn't look right. But, there aren't any properly matching options, so there it is, take it or leave it.

Great battery life between charges. The only issue I have with it is that it is black and my Air Mouse is navy blue, but that's a very minor issue.The battery this is replacing lasted about 18 months before needing replacement. I use the mouse as a remote control on a home theatre PC.

Won't buy from this vendor again. This battery had limited life out of the box. It didn't come anywhere close to the Gyration battery at purchase. I put it in a box and forgot about it for that very reason. I just pulled it out to see if I could use for a quick test. Lasted maybe 10 min...

I have owned 2 other of the Gyration batteries, and they both held charges for days on end. Extremely pleased with the first two. This purchase, not so pleased. If the battery held a charge for an hour it was a lot after charging all night. I did notice that this battery differed from the first two that I had in color and graphics. The version I am returning was a bit darker blue than the originals, and the graphics on the battery varied also. Anyway, it very well may have been a defective battery or it could be a sign of things to come with the Gyration replacement batteries.

This replacement/extra battery does what it is supposed to do. However, if you want to use it as a back-up battery, you need to be able to keep it charged or recharge it without it being in the charger. Gyration used to market a battery/charger combination. They don't seem to sell or market that item any more. When I bought this battery, I intended it to be a back up for my HTPC when/if I failed to put the mouse back into its charger. Therefore, I need the battery to be charged when I need it. Luckily, I had an extra in-line charger that I had purchased several years ago. If you need the battery/charger combination, search for Gyration GYAM1600ICBP. You may get lucky and find it.

Does not fit/work with my Gyration Air Mouse. At least the one I had. Make sure you call Gyration customer service before ordering this battery as they report serial numbers must match before some of these will work with the mouse you have. The vendor took the battery back so no complaints there so one extra star given for customer service.

The replacement battery works great and it was better than ordering another new mouse. However the color of the battery is a little darker than our original mouse, but we mostly care about the function.

I bought this battery 10th March 2018, Today's date is 24th August 2018 and now the battery only lasts about 2 days even if it's not used, the charge just drains away, I removed the battery from the mouse to make sure there was nothing wrong with the connections/contacts, it was then I noticed a small label tucked away inside which said CHARGE DATE 14/11/21, obviously this date must be the Chinese date 21/11/14, which means the battery was almost three and a half years old when it was sold to me, I've paid £27.64 for a battery that lasted 5 Month, I won't be doing that again.

Yes it works as my old one would not keep a charge. This on does and it works all day.

Bought this to replace the original gyration mouse. One year after, used it very sparingly, it doesn't hold charge for an hour, maybe not even 30 minutes, no matter how long it is kept in charging dock.I would avoid this gyration mouse replacement, myself I am looking at other wireless alternatives.

I really like the gyro mouse and small keyboard and have been using them all the time for my HTPC. Eventually the battery died and this replacement worked fine.
