Bought this for my grandsons birthday but my daughter is obsessed with this.. ordered ants through ants alive but alot have died.

Not sure if I enjoy this more or my son! The design is beautiful and seems high quality. Watching the ants build tunnels and all the ant things has been educational and interesting. My 5 year old loves it. Setting up was easy with clear instructions. Bought ants off Amazon and they are thriving.

difficult to load, clean, unload

This has been a lot of fun for the whole family! The ants seem to like it. My only complaint is that the plug was difficult to get back in after filling with sand and it is recommended to add more water to keep the sand moist and I’m not sure how we will be able to do that with the ants in it.

Our grandson age 11 loves his new ant farm. We gave it to him for his birthday. Not very good feeding and care instructions.

Farm came fast and very well packaged! I honestly was impressed with the packaging and quality of the product. The directions are easy to follow for set up. The ants I ordered love it and started getting to work right away, so the lay out for their home must of made them happy. I really like how is set up easy to put and or food in a larger slot and for cleaning up.

We bought this for our almost 4 year old probably 7 months ago. We put in 50 ants, part of a walnut, part of an almond, and a cinnamon cheerio. The instructions say the ants should live about 6 weeks. We still have 20 and they still have food from what we originally put in. This is very low maintenance and only requires us to add water once a week. It sits on our kitchen counter and the adults love it as much as the kids.

I’d ask for a return if I hadn’t thrown it in the trash. Altogether disgusted with this. I highly DON’T recommend purchasing. And I’m not a picky Amazon buyer.
