Easy to use, used it on a new shed, time will tell. I sprayed it on and brushed over with a soft nylon 12” broom, great combination, as it’s water based everything washed up perfectly. I finished the shed in Wickes chestnut creocote and it looks brilliant. As I said, time will tell!!

Got it for the garden furniture but unfortunatley it looks green not golden chetnut even on the tin lid it is debatable, still it goes a long way and seems to well waterproof and as its out in all weathers that is what it needs and cuprinol stuff is normally very good

It is called ‘Golden Chestnut’ but it is a horrible yellow with a green tinge. It has ruined the garden bench and will need redoing with a better colour. Not impressed.

I've been using this brand for 20 years and it lasts very well with repainting only needed every 7 to 10 years. Great colour and easy to apply. Much better than the cheaper water based paints which fade after a couple of years.

check and test the colour is right before starting. The tin i had was a bit green even with lots of shaking and stirring.

i have looked long & hard for this colour wood preserver, this is very good ,spreads very easely , goes a long way ,on natural wood colour came out a real golden light brown, kind of a natural golden wood which is exactly what i wanted, i found one coat ample. strongly recommend.

I did not like the water based product, to thin, seem to lay on the service,, also ran due to thin solution, I would not use this product again, solvent is much better and a faster way to complete the task, also it can stain slabs if spilled sorry is does not work for me.

First the tin was very badly dented (before packing ) as delivery box was in perfect condition. How it didn't leak was short of a miracle. Calling it Golden chestnut is a bit confusing as it it is actually rather greener than any chestnut I have seen. Water resistant I don't know it has rained on it yet. Would I buy it again NO but I would give the seller another chance just to see if they can pack things undamaged.
