It's a little tricky to learn how to use it but if you take your time and read the instructions it works great let's you have the precise controls of a PS4 or 5 controller on your PS2 it's awesome makes shooting and racing games feel like when you was a kid just a all around awesome product

Works as advertised, easy to setup
Easy to use, once synced it stays synced with the controller. Probably best to have a dedicated controller for the dongle so you don't have to pair it over and over.

It just work
Here’s a full review using the phrase “it just works” as a central theme:Review: It Just WorksThere’s a certain kind of magic when you encounter a product, service, or experience where everything aligns seamlessly. The best way to describe it? It just works. And that’s precisely what makes this stand out from the rest. From the moment you engage with it, there’s no need for a detailed manual or constant troubleshooting. Every feature feels intuitive, and every process flows effortlessly. Whether you’re a seasoned expert or a first-time user, the simplicity speaks volumes. This isn’t just luck or coincidence—it’s the result of thoughtful design and a commitment to excellence.Take reliability, for instance. So many things in life are prone to failure at the worst possible moments, but this delivers consistently. No hiccups, no surprises—it just works. The amount of frustration it saves is immeasurable, turning what could be a chore into a genuinely enjoyable experience.Another highlight is the balance between sophistication and accessibility. Advanced users will appreciate the depth and attention to detail, while novices will be amazed at how easy it is to navigate. There’s no steep learning curve because it just works. That’s the kind of design philosophy that earns loyalty and trust. In a world full of overcomplicated, underperforming options, finding something where it just works is refreshing and rare. This is a gold standard, a benchmark for how things should be. If you’re tired of mediocrity and inefficiency, this is a breath of fresh air.Highly recommended.Would you like to tailor this for a specific product or context?

Works great, a few tricks so read review
Works great..I use a PS4 controller and it works great in PS2 , when you link the PS4 controller press the center button with the PlayStation logo on it and the " select" button at the same time time till the light rapidly blinks blue on the controller..,turn on PS1 or ps2 and press release reset button on the retro adapter wait a few seconds till light on controller is solid blue and play ( if red shut down PS and repeat processes)..if switching between games and PS gets shut down, you have to reset the link to controller.. or use a micro USB cable to side of adapter( retro adapters "data port")to a charging brick to maintain link with adapter and controller when shutting down/restarting PlayStation for game change

Overly impressed
So I actually have 2 of these now and they work amazing for my playstation 2 and my OG playstation I prefer to use PS4 controllers because it has more of a natural feel for the shape compared to an older PS2 controller. So as soon as you synchronize the controller to the device, every time you turn off your console and come back to play all you have to do is turn on your controller and it will automatically sync with the device. Last thing I have had 0 lagging issues I play games like SSX tricky and Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone were you have to ether be on the joysticks constantly for movement in corners or have to press buttons in time with spells for Harry Potter and I do sit at my desk 2ft away or even play on my TV 10ft away and no lags, I highly recommend this to anyone trying to play wireless.

Quality
PS3 controller requires a couple extra hoops to jump thru but the end result is worth it. Very happy with my purchase and will be back for more!

Works fine
This works just fine. I used this with my PS3 and PS4 controllers. There is a tiny bit of input lag and I notice when using the analogue sticks, they just register weird, not quite sure how to explain it, they just feel wrong. I shouldn’t have picked up the clear one because the lights on the front are so bright, they light up the room at night. Now that I bought a different one, I was going to leave it in the P2 slot, but the flashing blue light when nothing is paired drives my nuts.

Nice knockoff adapter. Works great with your PS4 controller
If you ever wanted to use a PS4 controller with your PS1 or PS2, this is for you. I love being able to use the better feeling PS4 controller on my couch, as the original dualshocks were not wireless. (and most extension cables are shoddily made).Pairing is a breeze, but be sure you're not using an already paired controller without first resetting it. The adapter itself sticks out more than the Logitech one, a good 2 inches farther than the memory card. It's not a deal breaker, but it does look weird at first.A competent product that performs as advertised. Something that is becoming rarer these days.
