Needed a solution to mis-matched washer dryer. Very easy to assemble. Very flexible size-wise. Works well so far, longevity will be the test.

My washer and dryer are different brands and this works perfectly to stack them. It's very easy to set up and only took about 5 minutes. Hardest part is lifting the dryer up on top of the washer. The size is adjustable, but if you don't have a matched set like my case they should be pretty close to the same width (depth is less important) - probably no more than 0.5-1" difference. Luckily I think most are sized pretty close.I've been using this for about a month and it seems to be pretty durable and stable. Overall a good value.

Tried it on an older washer and dryer of the same brand that was not meant to stack. But the straps and the dryer frame worked perfectly. Super secure when on a high spin setting. No movement or rattles, seems very solid.

There are simpler methods/products like the latch screwed into the rear of your washer/dryer. Those must be compatible though, leading to this product which allows for variance in size. It wasnt too difficult to assemble and install, toughest was lifting the dryer and placing on the pads. Note that ours had misnumbering of the corners, but it was intuitive enough to complete. One final comment is that this definitely does not look "clean" or custom. The strap ratchet is unsightly (can be moved to the top). As a result, my wife wants me to hide the assembly by building a frame around it. I'd say that's personal preference...in a laundry room.

while difficult to actually stack the dryer, once its up there, this kit leaves me confident it wont go anywhere.

Be aware of your washer’s detergent input, if it is in the upper corners this kit will not work

Used to stack our old Samsung dryer on a new LG washer after the samsung washer prematurely died. I was super impressed with the easy install. 100% worth it. Just had to take the old samsung stacking kit off and the dryer feet off first.

We bought a stackable GE washer and dryer 5 years ago and unfortunately the washer started having problems that would be too expensive to fix (estimate was as much as the cost of a new washer). The new models for the products we bought 5 years ago have been upgraded and the dimensions of the new washer model no longer exactly matches our exisitng dryer so we could not stack with the recommended GE stacking hardware. It seemed wasteful to get rid of a perfectly functional dryer and buy a new one just so we can use all GE products...solution? this awesome product! This totally changed the game for us. We now have the older dryer on top of a new washer and they are stacked snug and tight together with the adjustable connecting frame held together securely with the ratchet strap. Have had this set up for months and have had the peace of mind that the stacked appliances are safely in their place. I actually feel that this set up is more secure than what we had before.
