Beautifully crafted work of art!
This beautifully designed and executed (scrapbook, grimoire shell, intriguing journal?) is a first rate product. Using metaphysically-themed clip art, the designers take it a step further and create lovely sepia-toned backgrounds and drawings on thick, high quality paper. The cover is embossed and it comes in a box that protects and replicates the cover. It has the appearance of an ancient, hand-stitched manuscript with a place-marking ribbon and a very handsome spine for the bookshelf view. This is not an actual book or a guide, but a canvas or shell to inspire your own creation. It has a very Harry Potter feel to it; well-suited for crafting by older wizards and wannabees. The generous pages are a dark sepia, so like a scrapbook, handwriting, unless in very dark ink, should probably be creatively pasted in. Will it be a showcase for favorite quotes? Recipes? Memories? Pressed flowers and small watercolors inspired by my garden? It comes with a little packet of fun "stamps" and a pocket inside the back cover. What a great find!

Wow! Low expectations, highly surprised.
The media could not be loaded. This book blew me away. First of all, the presentation is wonderful. Instead of just being wrapped in plastic the book is protected by a similarly designed box so you’re sure to get an unscathed product regardless of how ruthless your delivery driver is.Next, I was surprised to see the surface of the book has texture. The designs are raised as well as embossed. It feels amazing to hold and doesn’t come off as cheap or poorly designed. The pages are THICK! You know, thick enough that I can use markers and not worry about bleeding from page to page?! Yes please! Like arts and craft paper thick. If I didn’t want to use this as a scarp book i could easily use this as collage paper.Lastly, there’s a pocket in the back. I can store my extra photos until I place them.I’m so happy with this. 💕😭

Ridiculously large, distorted images.
First of all, this is a beautiful book. Thick pages, neatly bound, with an envelope and elastic attached to the inside of its back cover. Those parts were well thought out. What takes from its beauty are:1) its ridiculously large size for the images on it. I knew I was getting a large book, but the images in it are clearly not for its size. The Wheel of the Year and the clock graphics are oval, not round. The quarter moons look like canoes, not slivers. It’s like the designer forgot basic lessons in proportionality.2) the very dark pages. Some pages are meant to be written on. And even if you use that blackest black ink, your writing will still not pop out of the page.3) the order of the images. If this is supposed to be a grimoire, it would make sense to put the Wheel of the Year closer to the start of the book.4) the kinds of images. It’s like someone just took all clip art from the web labeled as “mystical” and stuck it everywhere. Antique clocks, old postcards, and pocket watches aren’t witchy things. Fairies and pyramids would normally not be in a witchcraft journal. This would have been a truly beautiful and useful book if it were smaller, about A5 size, and if the pages were lighter. Also, if the manufacturer could make up its mind on its purpose -- grimoire, a spell book, a moon journal, or merely a collection of ephemera.

Only thing Astrological about this book is the cover. THIS IS A GRIMOIRE of high quality design
The book is nice, the cover, the presentation box, and every single page is highly highly detailed, mystical and utterly unique. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the lack of a "zodiac or astrological" theme. Other than the cover and one page inside the book, there is no other artistic reference to anything astrological. Each page in the book is fully covered in art and unique from one another. Many of the pages do have some lines for writing in. There are NO blank boring white pages in this book. Overall there was only really one page inside that had a astrology theme to it. The rest were heavily Wiccan, some feminine themed Magic and almost entirely a very authentic Grimoire themed bok. It has a very heavy Book of Shadows or Personal Book of Spells look to it. Absolutely beautiful designed throughout and no two pages are a like. It has a very "hand made" "hand drawn" look to each page. Really Gorgeous designs and can EASILY be used not only for scrapbooking but as a personal grimoire, journal or art book. The pages are extra thick, and coated well, so you can paint, glue, watercolor, add melted resins, magical inks etc to the pages without them bleeding through. Which makes this an EXCELLENT GRIMOIRE. Each page is unique and even the inner covers are wall to wall works of art. I just wish that it had more astrological references and less "wiccan" magic themes to the inner art of the pages. Otherwise.....VERY UNIQUE, does NOT look like a commercially produced scrap book. It's as close as you can get to a hand made Grimoire as I have ever seen.

Such a gorgeous compilation of pages
This book is a work of art in many ways. It has a lot of incredible esoteric and occult pages and leaves plenty of space to insert your own writings or powerful lessons or spells you want to jot down. The pages of this book are so well designed it almost feels like you are writing in an ancient manuscript. There are two things that I will speak in that don’t take away from the rating I gave but should be take into account. The design of the cover is a bit cartoon-like and could use some improvement. This field of reality should not be taken lightly or treated as a joke. It can be very dangerous if people are not cautious with their approach. In this book there is a Ouija board aka spirit board which I have taken the liberty to remove. These things should not be played with unless you are adept or willing to face the consequences of opening your life of to the wrong entities. This is a great purchase, even for neophytes. Just don’t bath in ignorance as you explore and you will be fine.
