I like this product. It isn't heavy but it is quality weight. It is great for putting your laptop on to raise it up.I like the versatility of uses too. I can stand up the laptop to clear space at my work station when using other devices.

I needed a stand to bring my MacBook Pro 13 in up to flush the bottom of my eye-level mounted monitor. By my estimation, I needed something that would raise my laptop roughly 2 inches. This worked ok. I found out quickly that there was a minimum high that would raise a device. below that height, it would simply collapse. If I used it any higher it would work great. Unfortunately, there are no ways to tighten the joints. I was able to get it worked with some patience.

I have a 12-in convertible laptop and needed this product to allow me to take adequate notes for school when I need to write on it. Upon receiving the product, I eagerly decided to test it and put it up into 4 "modes" that I like to refer to. The product is allowed to go from being flat from "travel mode" and easily be maneuvered to become "table mode", "typing/working mode", and "storage mode" (see attached images for reference *I'm sorry if my terminology doesn't make sense but this is how I see it in my head*). My laptop is roughly 5-7lbs and I found that this product was quite sturdy when I tried to type on it or when I put pressure on the product itself to test sturdiness. I definitely recommend this product to TABLET users or SMALL LAPTOP users who are always on the go. However, if for example, you have a much larger laptop (17 in laptop) this product wouldn't be right for you if you decide to use it for typing purposes. I think that the surface area of the laptop stand wouldn't be sufficient for your situation. Your laptop might be wobbly as you lay your wrist down and it would probably be an uncomfortable typing experience for you. All-in-all am completely satisfied with this product!
