I wore these for my 2 week trip in Hawaii. We were extremely active as we usually are on our trips, and walked and swam on and off everyday. I always have worn my Birks but the thing I noticed and loved about these were how light they were. Birks are so heavy and they fatigue my feet. The sole was very comfortable and cushy and provided a lot of support for walking all day. I actually discovered the adjustable straps by accident which was so handy when I wanted to use the back strap for a more secure fit when hiking and remove it when I want to be able to easily slip on my shoes like after walking in the sand or after swimming. I got a size 9 and they fit perfect on me, I am a true size 9. Also these were pretty cute to wear for tons of occasions which I’ll attach in my photos. I would love if they added more colors like the mixed colors they have on their other sandals. Or had other strap designs with the same sole. Highly recommend!

I love them! Comfortable, flattering, and a perfect fit. The color is exactly as in the photos. I can walk miles in them and the sole is thick and durable. Easy to clean as waterproof.

Now that I’m retired, I live in flip-flops, but sometimes those don’t work so well, for example, if I’m dancing. I wanted some thing that would actually stay on my foot, But I also walk a lot and needed some thing with more support and comfort, but I wanted some thing that would look cute and go with my bohemian vibe when I wear maxi dresses, etc. These are perfect.I also found that I could wear them in and out of the water at the waterpark, the chlorine water didn’t seem to do any damage however, I was only in there once. I liked that I didn’t have to change shoes. I wore those shoes on the one and a half mile walk to the waterpark, all through the waterpark, in the water and home. This picture is taken after I got home.I typically wear 8 1/2, I purchased the 8 1/2–9, I would say these true to size.On my foot, the strap is a little loose, I had thought maybe a little too loose at first but they stay in place. I like that the strap is not rubbing on my feet. They are very comfortable.The design is pretty smart, it seems the straps move around and adjust to the shape of your foot I did try another pair of sandals from the same brand with a little different style, but chose to keep these because of the rugged comfortable sole. I like that these are waterproof and plan to wear them on my river hikes.

I just got these at the beginning of April 2025, and the 8 fits perfectly. I wear a 7.5. So if you are an actual size 8, go up a next because these will be too small for you. They are easy to walk in so far, and I've walked 3.9 miles in them, and my feet are feeling good. I'm taking off one star because the sole itself is not made of durable material- it's light and somewhat spongy-ish. Since I usually buy one pair of walking sandals per summer- some brands allow me to get two summers in them- I believe these may only last until mid-September. I will update. The sandals I bought previously that lasted me two summers were twice the price. But these are cute and they feel great, so even if I have to buy another pair to get me through the end of summer, it won't be a big deal.

These are great. I wasn't sure about which size to get- I am a 9, typically, but depending on shoe, it can differ. Sometimes I go 9.5, but that's either in running shoes or some dress shoes. The 8.5/9 fit me perfectly.As far as adjustability, the strap behind the heel is what is adjustable. It connects to the straps that cross over the top of the foot, on either side. You can slide the heel strap up or down (or forward or back, depending on how you look at it), and it makes for a more snug or loose fit. My guess about people saying the straps get loose over time, *may* have something to do with this feature being a little more mobile after some wear. But, it could also be that the braids tighten up, making the straps be just a tiny bit longer than at purchase. Either way, for now they are great and I think for the price point (these aren't Chacos, after all) the quality is good and even if they stretch a bit, I would be glad I bought them.They are incredibly light, and the support is good- it's firm, without being stiff in the sole, or hard on the bottom of the feet. It's also not annoyingly squishy, which can feel kinda gross to my feet, especially if the shoe gets wet. In fact, I suppose they're so comfortable that the only way I think about my feet is to stop to consider how good they are feeling from time to time.The bottom of the soles are not what I could consider "hiking" sandals. They have texture for sure, but it is more like a light but dense foam/ (plastic?) I will feel ok wearing these in drier, slightly rough terrain, but I personally would not feel comfortable relying on them on wet or potentially slippery hikes.. however I've seen some reviews here that say they use them for that and with no issues. I suppose if they prove themselves trustworthy, then after some time I might give them a go at wetter conditions.They are quiet shoes, with the exception of the light sound of my heel lifting off of the back of the sole. I don't know that that is avoidable, but the shoes themselves don't make a lot of noise on the ground- indoor or outdoor.Overall, I would definitely recommend them. I will be using them for travel - to have a utilitarian sandal that can also be dressed up. Then just around town in my regular life when I return. If anything significant comes up after using them for sometime, I will edit this post.

Wife purchased these sandals based on an influencer's testimonial/video. They are in fact, meeting the review given. The shoes are extremely lightweight, very comfortable, soft to walk in. The braided straps are perfectly positioned and thus far, have not caused any discomfort or rubbing of the toes. They are the perfect transition sandal that can be worn with casual outfits or with a cute dress.
