Just what I wanted

This set of jewelry findings is a great deal at $9.99. I like that the seller includes a pair of tweezers, a set of crimp pliers, a small spool of stringing wire and a jump-ring opener. For the findings, they come in a sturdy plastic 12-compartment storage box. The findings are in sets of gold and silver, which are bright in tone. There are crimp beads, lobster claws, wire guardians, jump rings, clam shell covers and crimp-bead covers, in each gold and silver. Also while each compartment for each finding has a lid, it's not clear to me if the plastic clasp will wear out, which would cause troublesome spills. My only reservation is that the seller does not indicate whether the metal is free of lead, cadmium, nickel, or other metals that could trouble people with allergies. For jewelry makers this is important to know so that they can inform their buyers of the same. This is important to know and I wish that the seller would indicate this in their product description. For that reason I took one star away.

I just received this kit, and the crimper pliers are decent and will last a long time. The tweezers are average and the lobster clasps are nice. The crimp covers, tubes and other items are not of high quality but are average so they will still work just fine. Overall, $9.99 for the kit is good.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered these solely for the jump rings and the included pliers. I planned to use the jump rings for nail art. I included a photo of the pierced nail. (Used a Dremel and a very small drill bit to drill the hole)The kit comes with a silver and a gold version of each clasp which is great. I liked the pliers that come with the kit. The tweezers are only good for picking up the clasps out of the case, and they appear to be slightly magnetic which is absolutely amazing and makes getting one or two jump rings out of the case really easy.I may have to take up a new hobby (beading) so I can use more of the items in the set.I consider it a good value for everything you get. I wish the jump rings were a bit bigger. They’re 4mm according to the product page.My only other observation was no instructions or product information was supplied.

Love this little kit -- handy, portable, lots and lots of parts. When I need something quick, this kit does the trick. I love the variety of pieces and it even includes a crimp tool.Love it, definitely recommend.

I have been impressed by the usefulness and volume of this crimp bead kit. There is a good variety here: crimp pliers, tweezers (metal not plastic), 82 ft beading wire, jump rings, crimp tubes, covers, and more at an affordable price currently. I like having both gold and silver colored findings to draw upon, especially in good condition. I can use both sides of this jump ring opener due to the size of the slots, which is helpful to me. As I counted numerous sections of the transparent box, I found those compartments to have at least what was advertised, if not 1-3 more items than expected. It seems preferable to find oneself with more, rather than less than advertised. I was eagerly waiting to receive this delivery to finish off my chrysocolla bracelet, using these 4 mm gold crimp covers.I only prior had 6 mm crimp covers and needed something smaller scale. I am pleased with the function they serve, although it is not always easy to work with very small beads. I found the box very handy but difficult to maneuver opening the lids, which were either too rigid or too loose. In this case, I found a screwdriver helpful for navigating lid opening/closing. Kids may need help with these lids.

I ordered these jewelry findings for my teenage daughter. She loves making beaded jewelry, and just bought a ton of very tiny seed beads. These findings will work well to secure pieces made from those beads.First, we LOVE that each compartment in the container has its own individual lid. Brilliant. You can open a single compartment without risking having the others spill. Handy, because some of the findings are quite tiny. That's great, because they'll be subtle in your finished product.The different types of clasps seem to perform well after a couple of quick tests. She has never had proper crimping pliers before, and says that, for use with these kinds of findings, they'll be a nice upgrade from the needle-nose pliers she's been using. My daughter says the lobster clasps compare well, quality-wise, to others she's used. The spring action on them is a little bit stiff, but that makes it secure.Overall, she's very happy with this set. Good value.
