MiniSun Portable Compact High Powered Energy Saving 12w LED SAD Daylight Therapy Lamp - White

I wasn't sure that this would really work given that it is a lot cheaper and smaller than others on the market. Well, how wrong! This little lamp does exactly what it says, I feel 100% better already. It sit's on my desk at work and is on all day, it doesn't effect any of my colleagues as it is small and easy to move around my desk. I am so impressed with this that I have actually ordered another one this morning for home!

I had a light like this for years until I dropped it off my table and the light bulb smashed. Sadly, I can't seem to just get a replacement bulb, so bought this thinking it would be identical. Well, it's a lot uglier than the last one, but boy .. is it bright. From the moment you turn it on, painfully bright. My last minisun behaved as most SAD lights do, a faint glow getting slowly stronger. But not this one, nope. It would make the harshest Gestapo officer blush with shame at the brightness of it's beam.Still, I like it. It's 12W instead of the 9W I am used to. That's a good thing really. My only real gripe is the painful welders flash I suffer from for the first 5 minutes of putting it on. I recommend buying some sunglasses from Amazon alongside this item :).

I brought one of these now I’m working from home. A friend in work let me try there SAD light, when I was struggling to focus my eyes and I felt tired. When I started my new job, we were lucky enough to have a wellness room, which had one of these. I would use it for half an hour on my lunch and it really helped pick me up for the afternoon.SAD lights are very bright, but you are not meant to look at them directly. You should position it too your side, so you can see it out of the corner of your eye.

I bought this lamp for my tiny kitchen as it doesn't have a external window & can feel very gloomy especially in the winter. The difference it made to my mood is simply incredible. I also tried it in my totally white bedroom and I love it. If I had more space on my small bedside table I would buy another one for the bedroom too. Very pleased indeed. Thank you.

Have bought this product three times--once as a gift, another time for myself, and once to replace when it fell from a height and the casing broke (it is ceramic, and though a pretty think ceramic, it CAN break!). I like its portability, minimal aesthetic, and value. (The bulb in my last model lasted two years of practically everyday use). Is very bright--don't look directly at the bulb when it's lit, obviously!! But makes a great difference on overcast/cloudy days. My main quibble is that the electrical lead is pretty short.

used this many times during the dark mornings really does help. Need to be close but not in your direct line of sight - can be very bright

Small, heavy, well made and seems to work... I say that because I got it just a few days before the sunny hot days came around when I didn;t need it anymore! Very portable for travel. I'm very impressed with it, Recommended

Very quick delivery. Exactly as advertised. Not too bright but I do feel better. Small enough to be portable. Would recommend it.
